Jayr POV - Dragon Ball Universe, Null Realm - Age 780
Shortly after the massive explosion, the defeated Agnilasa defuses back into Paparoni, Koitsukai, Pancéa, and Borareta and they get sent flying out of the fighting stage and fall into the bottomless abyss of the Null Realm before they quickly materialize in the bleachers of the spectators stand next to the other warriors and Deities of the 3rd Universe where Dr. Paparoni immediately apologizes, "I'm so sorry, we've let you all down." which makes the Supreme Kai of the 3rd Universe, Erye, comfort them, "There's nothing to apologize for, Doctor. While the result is disappointing, we know you and your colleagues have done everything in your power to prevent this unfortunate fate."
At the same time, the Zenos happily mark their elimination on their GodPads while calling them out one by one and commenting.
"Koitsukai..."
"Pancèa..."
"Borareta..."
"Paparoni! Heh, heh!"
Immediately after that, the Grand Minister announces, "All of the 3rd Universe's fighters have been knocked out. The whole team is eliminated. According to the rules, the entire 3rd Universe will now be erased."
Just like that, the fate of the 3rd Universe is already sealed as the Zenos raise their hands and charge twin blue spheres of energy in their hands that are going to be used to erase the 3rd Universe from existence as they cheerfully call out in perfect sync.
""Bye!""
At the same time, the warriors and Gods of the 3rd Universe in the Null Realm, excluding the Guide Angel Camparri, start flashing in a white aura while the Supreme Kai gracefully says with a wry smile on his face, "The only thing we can do now is accept this as our destiny. I harbor no regrets."
This is followed by the opening of the hatch in Mosco's mechanical stomach from which the imp-like Mule, the true God of Destruction of the 3rd Universe, pops out with a smile on his face as he turns around, looks at his Guide Angel, chuckles, and showing him a thumb up sign, he says, "Heh, heh, heh. Thanks for everything, pal. We're outta here."
At this point, the Zenos clench their fist while saying, ""Squish!"" making the flashing warriors and Deities disappear and this time, I don't brother to use my Cosmic Awareness to comfirm that the same is true for the whole 3rd Universe as this event happened way too many times already, and I know perfectly well how it works.
In the end, the Guide Angel Camparri is the only one remaining as he looks at the spot where his God of Destruction was a few moments ago and calmly mutters, "He finally came out of that thing."
With the 3rd Universe erased, the 7th Universe Team, whose members all transformed back to their base form, gathers around Cell with Goku, who looks at him and compliments, "Nice attack. We're still in this tournament thanks to you, Cell. By the way, this new form you developed with Goza looks awesome and feels incredibly powerful! It's amazing!"
This is followed by Vegeta who clicks his tongue and says, "Tch! I don't see what0s so heroic about hogging all the fun. However, I have to admit that this new form does look and feels very similar to Goza's Super Saiyan 4." which makes Goza grin and comment, "Of course, it is similar, because it is basically the same. It took some time, and more than a few trials, but in the end, we were able to tap more into Cell's Saiyan heritage, allowing him to take an Oozaru-like form and then compress it into this new form, massively increasing Cell's power."
Hearing that, Broly nods and says, "Impressive." before he asks, "But how did you know that Agnilasa's forehead was his power source?" which makes Cell explain, "I suppose that being a Biological Android gave me an inside track on Agnilasa's structure."
Suddenly, the group is interrupted by the 11th Universe team with Dyspo asking, "Are you finally done congratulating yourselves?" which makes Vegeta snort and reply, "Ha. Are you finally ready to fight like men?"
At this point, Jiren calmly says, "Well then. I hope you enjoyed the last triumph of your lives. Try all you want, you cannot defeat me," which makes Goku chuckle and say, "Heh. Well, that ain't how I see it, Jiren."
Suddenly, Holy Angemon lands close by and with a cheeky grin, he says, "Good. Twice the pride, double the fall." followed by Paildramon, who lands next to him and complains, "For the love of Yggdrasil! Holy Angemon, can you stop quoting popular movies, animes, and manga for once!"
Then with a flash of golden light, Kiki teleports next to them and with an equally cheeky grin, he simply says, "I understood that reference!" which makes Paildramon groan loudly while Orphèe calmly joins them and says, "Jayr-sama made me and my family watch that movie too. The overall plot was fine, if not bland at times... but I find the music in it much more pleasing and intriguing. The one who wrote them has an undeniable talent."
In response, Holy Angemon focuses on Orphèe and exclaims, "I think I just heard a heresy! After this is over, I'm going to use the Holy Power of Culture to make you see the light!"
At this point, Orphèe says, "Let's stop messing around. It's clear that the Tournament of Power has reached its climax. Focus."
Shortly after that, a portal opens in the area and from it, Peppars slowly walks out as he looks at every single remaining warrior before he grins and says, "There is still quite a few of you left. I'm going the scent of your despair as you continue to struggle to avoid getting erased." which makes Dyspo snort and says, "Hmpf. A lousy coward like you is destined to be defeated. Sooner or later, you won't be able to escape anymore."
With the destruction of the 3rd Universe, now only the 7th Universe, the 11th Universe, the 9th Universe, and my Universe remain, and now, all the remaining warriors have gathered in a single area, ready to start the battle to decide the final winner.
Watching the remaining warriors taking part in the Tournament of Power glaring at one other, Zeno-2 excidetly says, "Ooh. It's down to the 7th Universe, the 9th Universe, the 11th Universe, and Jayr's Universe now. I wonder which universe will win." followed by Zeno-1 who agrees and says, "Yes, I am wondering that, too."
Then the Grand Minister comments, "This finale will be a sight to behold. Though with so few spectators left, the stands do look a bit bare," which makes the Zenos take notice of its state and say in perfect sync, ""Yes, just look at all the benches!""
At this point, the Grand Minister takes another quick glance at the spectators' stand, and seeing that it looks a bit desolate, he mutters, "Hm. I believe this will help." He then claps his hands and uses his powers to shrink the spectators' stand down so that the Deties and defeated contestants from the remaining universes are all now sitting side-by-side.
For a moment, the people on the spectators stand were startled by the sudden shirking of it, and even more so, when they suddenly found themselves sitting close to the people from other universes with a few of them giving a timid greeting while some simply chose to ignore the others presence and focus on the fighting stage, and some other nervously laughing.
Then the Grand Minister turns to face us and the Zenos and asks, "Does that look better, Your Majesties?" which makes them reply.
"Oh yes, I like it!"
"They aren't sitting so far apart now!"
At the same time, Whis looks at his siblings all close to him and says, "Ara ara. Look at us all together. This is downright cozy." which makes Marcarita agree, "Yes, quite a change." before she looks Vados and says in a challenging tone, likely because of some form of sibling rivality, "Though you've been cozying up to the 7th for a while, Vados."
In response, Vados explains, "Well, now that the 6th has been erased, I'm thinking I'll impose on this universe for a while, like an uninvited houseguest. Hohohoho."
Meanwhile, the Grand Minister calmly explains to the Zenos, "The time column is about to drop down to its final section, sires. The winners shall be determined soon."
This is followed by the Supreme Kai of the exempted 1st Universe, who comments out loud, "The three remaining universes in this Tournament should be commended, not only for showing impressive power in their battles, but also for showing ingenuity, and the willingness to adapt and do whatever it takes to survive. And let's not forget the Team from the honored guest, Jayr-sama's Universe, that has given us a glimpse of what exists outside of Zeno-sama's multiverse."
Back on the ruined fighting stage, after the brief four-way stall, where the four teams silentily looked at one other, Goku makes the first move and slowly starts to walk toward Jiren, who does the same in response, while all the other warriors stand still, wary of all the contestant from the opposing teams, ready to explode their full power at any given moment.
Then, as Goku and Jiren stop just a few centimeters from one another, the Old Supreme Kai exclaims, "Buckle up, boys, this is it. The battle between the mightiest in the multiverse."
Suddenly, Goku powers up into Super Saiyan Blue and begins yelling as he keeps increasing his power until it literally releases an explosion of Ki that raises a big cloud of smoke, making Vegeta snort and comment, "Hmph. He always has to be dramatic. Hm?"
At the same time, the explosion caused by Goku's surging power was the signal that fully started the hostilities between the remaining contestants, who immediately set off searching for an opponent.
The next moment, Goku and Jiren jump out from the cloud of smoke and start trading blows until an impressed Goku says, "Awesome. You really are strong, Jiren. My hands are actually starting to sting a little bit."
Hearing that, Jiren continues exchanging blows and asks, "Tell me, Son Goku. What drives your endless quest for strength?" which makes Goku chuckle and reply, "Heh, heh. Honestly? I can't explain it. I just want to get stronger... Always have!"
After hearing Goku's reply, Jiren looks at his opponent and mutters, "As I thought. You don't even know," which then makes Goku ask, "What about you? Don't you want to get stronger?"
As he continues to throw punches while blocking and deflecting Goku's attacks, Jiren replies, "I seek to achieve something beyond strength, simpleton," which makes Goku smile and say, "Well, duh, that's what I've been saying! I want to get stronger than strong, and then stronger than that!"
Meanwhile, the Grand Minister wisely comments, "Contestant Son Goku-san versus Contestant Jiren. The result of the Tournament and the fates of their universes most likely hinge on this one fight. Especially on how much they can grow during the battle," which makes the Zenos exclaim.
"I want this fight to last a long time!"
"I don't want it to end either!"
""It's so fun to watch!""
At the same time, I smile wryly while thinking, 'As expected from the Grand Minister. He has already realized that the only chance for a team of the Dragon Ball Multiverse to win against mine is in the case of Goku fully using the power of Ultra Instinct. After all, no matter how broken Broly is, or how powerful the current Cell and Vegeta are. After all, the Ultimate Level Imperialdramon and Golddramon are more than powerful enough to confront them in a one-on-one scenario; only something overpowered to the level of ZeedMillenniumon can defeat them. Kiki is also powerful enough to face beings like Jiren, Top, Vegeta, and Cell and come out on top. Then there is Orphèe, who is even stronger than Kiki and maybe even my Digimon Partners if he makes use of his trump card. The only threats remain Ultra Instinct Goku and Goza pulling off something unexpected.'
While I'm thinking that, Goku and Jiren briefly stop their exchange and distance themselves from one another with an excited Goku asking, "Okay, are you ready to start round two?"
Suddenly, the figure of Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Blue form flies by Goku's side with the clear intent of barging in, making a surprised Goku exclaim, "Huh?"
As Vegeta quickly advances toward Jiren, he yells, "All right, Jiren! I demand you show me your power!"
Realizing Vegeta's intentions, Goku quickly yells, "Vegeta, come on! That's my fight, no fair!" But obviously, Vegeta ignores Goku and starts fighting Jiren.
Elsewhere, Dyspo dodges Peppars's barrage of Ki Blasts coming out from the many portals all around him while he brags, "Hiahaha. You'll never hit me! It's a simple fact. I'm the fastest warrior alive in the entire Multiverse!"
Hearing that, Peppars stops firing his Ki Blasts, looks at Dyspo, chuckles, and says in a mocking tone, "Heh, heh. A master of running away, and so proud of it. To think that you, among all people, mocked me for being a coward. Aren't you actually projecting your own insecurities on me?"
Dyspo immediately narrows his eyes and says in a threatening tone, "Sounds like you want to enrage me and make me lose focus..."
Meanwhile, Paildramon goes up against Top, who slams his fist into the ground, upturning it to the point that Paildramon is forced to take flight while muttering, "Damn, those thick arms sure pack quite a bit of a punch behind them. I must be careful at my current level; I may have some trouble if one of his attacks lands."
While Paildramon is up in the air, Top bumps his fists and shouts, "Come at me. You will only be fodder for my fists."
Then my attention shifts to another area of the fighting stage where Holy Angemon is now facing Cell in his Super Saiyan 4-like form, and while Holy Angemon is forced to constantly retreat under Cell's ferocious assault, he still maintains his calm and casually chats, "You know Cell? I find your new form truly awesome! This wild Super Saiyan 4-like look gives me such chills!"
In response, Cell smirks and replies, "Well, your transformations are equally astonishing. I still find it difficult to believe that you are that small and cute Patamon," which makes Holy Angemon quip back, "Currently, I'm not Patamon. I'm Holy Angemon, a Perfect Level Digimon!
Then Holy Angemon grins and adds, "And this isn't even my final form! Beyond this there is still my Ultimate Level form!" which makes Cell stop his assault for a moment and mutter, "Ultimate... I like how it sound!" before he come to a decision and declares, "From now on, this form will be called Ultimate Cell!"
Hearing that, Holy Angemon smiles and exclaims, "Cool!" before he extends his energy sword on his right arm and attacks Cell, forcing him to use the Android Barrier to block it.
After that, I focus on another pair fighting in another area of the fighting stage, where Broly, in his Legendary Super Saiyan form, is charging green light energy from around his body and gathers it into his palm to form a bright-green energy sphere.
Next, he waves his hand forward and fires the attack at his opponent, Kiki, who makes his Cosmo explode while calling out, "Crystal Wall!"
He then combines his Cosmo with his psychic power to create a transparent, glass-like barrier between himself and Broly's powerful Eraser Cannon that continues to advance toward its target until impact against the barrier, but once the Ki Blast hits it, it gets obliterated, and then, the force of this attack is reflected back at Broly.
As the reflected force crashes on his body, Broly roars and powers himself up enduring the head-on collision with the reflected attack before releantlessly charging toward Kiki while charging another green energy sphere in his hand to attack him with a point-blank Eraser Cannon, however, Kiki quickly teleports out of the way before he mutters, "As expected from the warrior Jayr-nii warned us about. He is truly a force of nature. But that's what makes this battle so interesting."
After taking a moment to look at Kiki and Broly's battle, I focus more on the ongoing situation on the fighting stage and immediately realize that the only ones not fighting are Orphèe and Goza, who continue to observe the situation and study the other battle as if they have reached some kind of silent agreement.
Then I focus back on Vegeta and Jiren's battle and see that the former is relentlessly attacking the latter, however, none of his attacks seem to have any effect on Jiren to the point that the grey skinned alien isn't even actively defending himself and is only making use of his heavy and tough Ki to block Vegeta's attacks.
Nevertheless, Vegeta vows out loud, "I don't care how powerful you are... I will be the one who defeats you and claims the Super Dragon Balls!"
At this point, Jiren gets annoyed and, with a grunt, he knees Vegeta in the guts, which makes Vegeta's body bend forward before he follows up by elbowing him on the back, knocking him away and sending him crashing to the ground.
Shortly after he knocked Vegeta away, Jiren prepares to finish him off with his signature move, the Power Impact, but as he is charging a red energy blast, Goku rushes in and kicks him, making his body skid on the floor for a few meters while dispersing the energy he was gathering.
Then Goku follows up by running toward Jiren while yelling, "You're fighting me now, Jiren!" But as Goku rushes in to fight him, he is likewise overwhelmed by Jiren, who launches a barrage of rapid-fire punches that knock him away.
Unable to control himself, Goku bounces off the ground a couple of times before he regains his balance and lands on his feet, and then he immediately spits out a mouthful of saliva.
The next moment, Jiren appears right in front of Goku and doesn't gives him any respite as he attacks again using an horizontal elbow strike by swinging the elbow horizontally across the body targetting Goku's temple, however, Goku successfully blocks this using his own elbow strike where he thrusts the elbow forward in a stabbing motion, targeting the Jiren's elbow.
Goku's successful defense doesn't last long as Jiren immediately follows up with a downward elbow strike that hits the crown of Goku's head, briefly stunning him.
Right at this moment, Vegeta tries to attack Jiren again, but the strongest member of the Pride Troopers casually swats him away by swinging his free arm and hitting Vegeta's face without even throwing a glance in his direction.
This brief interruption buys enough time to allow Goku to recover from the elbow strike to the crown of his head and retaliate with an uppercut punch, but Jiren easily dodges by leaning his upper body back a little and then kicks him away with a side kick.
Vegeta then recovers from the last blow and tries to attack Jiren again with a flying kick that Jiren again dodges before he grabs Vegeta's leg, then he spins and throws him away, however, Vegeta shows all his stubborness as he fixes his position in mid-air, safely lands on his feet and once again rushes while yelling toward Jiren making the Pride Trooper comment, "You are a stubborn one, aren't you?"
After saying that, Jiren again launches a barrage of rapid-fire punches just like he did with Goku a few moments ago; however, Vegeta smirks and manages to successfully dodge Jiren's punches and close in to land a punch of his own square on Jiren's chest, much to the shock of Jiren and everyone else watching, including Goku.
"Vegeta!"
"Whoa, it worked."
"He breeched his defenses."
"No way!"
"Vegeta has been watching. He must have seen something in that quick flurry of punches Jiren unleashed on Goku. Some kind of small opening or defensive weak point he could exploit."
"Perhaps this particular fight will be entertaining, after all."
"Hmph! Stop acting so calm, 11th Universe. Your show isn't fooling me."
After landing that successful blow, Vegeta goes on to attack Jiren again and again, forcing Jiren to step back and actually defend himself, impressing the Zenos, who exclaim.
"This is great!"
"And great is fun!"
"Vegeta's driving him back!"
"He's an amazing fighter, too!"
At the same time, watching Vegeta push Jiren back, Belmod, the God of Destruction of the 11th Universe, exclaims, "What's goin' on here?" followed by Shin who wonders out loud, "Could he... be winning?" which makes Khai ask, "Do you actually believe that's possible? Are you that blind?"
Shortly after that, I hear Whis as he comments, "I have to wonder... Could Vegeta have another motive for challenging Jiren? Perhaps he seeks a catalyst for unlocking Ultra Instinct," which shocks the people of the 7th Universe and makes Beerus reflect on it out loud, "That would make sense. And the way he was dodging... is he knocking on the door?"
Meanwhile, Vegeta successfully lands yet another blow, but instead of being happy about it, he is pretty pissed as he yells, "You were faster and stronger when you were fighting Kakarot. Don't hold back on me!"
In response to that, Jiren quickly retaliates, landing a punch on Vegeta's face, forcing him back, then he slaps away a Ki Blast fired by a retreating Vegeta and attacks him with a shoulder tackle, followed by another punch to the face and an uppercut that sends him rising up in the air.
Then Jiren chases after his opponent and sends him crashing on the ground with a double axe handle blow, and finishes this combination by nailing Vegeta with a Power Impact that sends him flying far off into the distance, much to the shock and awe of the people watching.
"Vegeta!"
"This isn't looking good."
"If he keeps sliding back, he'll go right off the edge!"
"Good, Jiren! Finish him now!"
""Wow!""
"Now, Vegeta is being overpowered!"
"He's in real danger!"
"Vegeta, no!"
Vegeta continues to struggle against Jiren's impressive Power Impact until it explodes just as it reaches the edge of the fighting stage, enveloping everything in a cloud of dust.
Meanwhile, Peppars tries to attack Dyspo with yet another Ki Blast from an unexpected angle by making use of his portals while continuing to mock him, "Do you plan to keep running like this the entire time?"
In response, Dyspo tries to trick Peppars's sense by using his speed to create a series of afterimages, but Peppars simply chuckles and mutters, "Huhuhu. That's the oldest trick in the book. Surely you don't believe you can trick the most dangerous criminal of the 9th Universe with such an uninspired clichè."
Dyspo tries to take advantage of the afterimage to attack Peppars with a point-blank Ki Blast to the back; however, Peppars notices it and immediately reacts as he opens a portal behind himself.
In an instant, Dyspo's hand and Ki Blast are about to pass through the portal, but the next moment, Dyspo stops, grins, and says, "I'm not so foolish to fall for your trick."
The next instant, Dyspo speeds up and moves around the portal, grabbing Peppars from his head, so fast that Peppars is completely unable to react, then he runs toward the closest large-sized rubble, dragging his opponent with him before he slams Peppars' head into it, and then he continues to run while scraping Peppars' head against the wall of the rubble, making Peppars scream in pain.
At the same time, Paildramon is struggling against Top, making him laugh and exclaim, "Hahaha! Is that the extent of your power? My fists of justice will clobber you to pieces!"
Before Top can actually hit him, Paildramon retaliates by firing an energy wave from the two organic cannons that extend from his waist while yelling, "Desperado Blaster!"
The energy wave hits its intended target and causes an explosion; however, the next moment, Top blows the smoke away with a wave of his hand, showing that the Desperado Blaster was ineffective, before he snorts and says, "Hmpf. I'm far from impressed. I expected more from someone following Jayr-sama. Now it's my turn."
Holy Angemon is also clearly struggling against Cell, or more specifically against Ultimate Cell, as he is easily able to block his Excalibur, and deal with the blast full of Holy Power, even Heaven's Door isn't able to affect Cell in any effective way.
Watching my Digimon Partners struggle against their opponents, I hold my D-Ark tightly and reach a conclusion, 'It is clear that they have almost reached the limit of what they can do at their Perfect Level. I'll let Paildramon and Holy Angemon struggle a little bit more, and then, I'll help them evolve to their Ultimate Level.'
