As soon as Wu Wei opened the door, he saw Ningwan standing at the entrance with her luggage.
"Running away from home again?"
"I got kicked out."
"I knew this would happen sooner or later." Wu Wei pursed his lips and let her in.
Wu Taotao ran out of the room: "Ningning, you're discharged from the hospital?"
"Wu Wei, I'm afraid I'll have to stay here from now on."
Ningwan sat down on the sofa and closed her eyes.
Wu Wei went to the kitchen to make juice for the two of them.
Seeing how exhausted she looked, Wu Taotao was distressed and quickly reached out to hug her.
"Ningning, what exactly happened?"
She had never seen her like this before, as if in an instant her spirit had been drained, leaving only an empty shell.
Ningwan silently shed tears, two streams running down her face.
Wu Taotao was even more surprised, it had been so long since she'd seen her cry.
It was Ningwan who once told her that if tears can't be used as a weapon, they're just a sign of weakness.
