Elena left Rachel's place having second thoughts, should she should believe what she told her or not? She decided that the best course of action was to keep tabs on Rachel to see what she was up to.
She arrived at her empty apartment which was luxurious, comfortable but lonely. Elena went to her wine cabinet and took out a bottle of screaming eagle, took a glass cup and went to her living room to drink away her sorrows.
She sat on the couch remembering when things around her was all roses and sunshine. She remembered all the fun she had with her mother before she passed from an accident.
"Mom I miss you so much, why did you leave me behind? You promised that you would not leave me and will stay and take care of me." Elena sobbed painfully. She felt so lonely. She had no one to turn to anymore, her mother's family did not take her in because they said that she was a jinx and was not supposed to be born. Her father was another case. He did not even acknowledge her and allowed his wife and daughter to bully her. She could not even stay in public places without people talking behind her back.
Ever since her mom, Evelyn passed away, everything went downhill. Elena felt helpless but she knew she had to stay strong so she could avenge her mom's death and also increase the growth of her company.
Elena finished the bottle of wine before passing out on the couch.
Elena opened her eyes because of the rays of sunshine that passed through the window drapes. She checked her time and discovered it was already 1 pm and she had not achieved anything for the day. Elena got up from the couch to freshen up. She stood up too fast causing a piercing headache to shoot through her head. She never thought that she would drink so much. She showered and got ready for the day's activities.
