"This matter, it seems, has nothing to do with you, Mr. Battleson."
Charlotte Thompson spoke silently.
"I just helped you out, and now you're using this attitude towards me. It's really heart-breaking."
Leon Battleson sighed, his expression notably sad.
"Mr. Battleson, I've already thanked you."
She unconsciously tightened the hand that was originally behind her back.
Charlotte tried to keep her tone calm while speaking.
Glancing at Charlotte, Leon Battleson pressed his fingertips to his chin and spoke to himself:
"Looks like you came with Justin Battleson?"
Using Justin Battleson as a shield to avoid Leon was a good tactic, so after hearing Leon's inquiry, Charlotte nodded.
"Justin is still waiting for me, so could you please move aside, Mr. Battleson?"
But Charlotte didn't expect Leon to burst into laughter.
"You're lying. How could Justin bring you here? Because he knows this shop is one of my own properties."
