Just as Jonathan finished speaking, before Charlotte could react, the phone in her pocket started ringing.
When she took it out to see, it turned out to be Joshua calling.
Jonathan quickly reached out to stop Charlotte from answering, but he was a step too late, and Charlotte answered the call. However, it wasn't just Joshua's voice coming from the receiver.
"Charlotte, where are you right now?"
"That idiot Jonathan isn't answering his phone!"
"Jonathan, don't lead Charlotte astray!"
"Jonathan, hurry up and bring Charlotte back!"
The voices of her brothers all burst out at once, making Charlotte instinctively pull the phone away from her ear a bit.
Seizing the opportunity, Jonathan leaned over, his face unable to conceal his smugness.
"What do you mean I'm leading Charlotte astray? She came back today to find me. You're just jealous."
As soon as Jonathan finished speaking, more disgruntled voices came through from the other end of the call.
Charlotte blinked at Jonathan.
