It's not very safe to sleep outdoors at night, especially when there's a breach in the nearest dungeon. After gathering some supplies from a few houses, we headed back home.
Although I was accompanied by two soldiers, an archer, and a goblin scout, I was technically walking alone, because these creatures aren't the best conversationalists, unless I can understand their shouts or growls.
The surprising thing is that these creatures understand my orders, as long as it's not something too complicated, you know, like mathematical calculations or philosophical thoughts.
The truth is, I was bored and needed to pass the time, so I decided to organize and clean my inventory, using sticks and clubs as firewood, while the tattered clothes would be our main fuel after soaking them in oil.
Our community is small, a little over 200 families, of which 50% have left, 20% stayed, and the remaining 30% have died at the hands of goblins.
Although losing 60 families is tragic, in my mind and their memories, all those people are like a grain of sand in the Sahara Desert, because in this place these kinds of accidents are common, making wars between races and demonic invasions seem very distant.
The destruction of Dungeon Level [0] was merely cruel collateral damage.

Just a few meters from home, I undo the four summons or I'll give those women in the basement a heart attack.
The house is a complete mess; tables, chairs, and furniture are wrecked. Calmly, I reach the trapdoor in the floor and, after knocking a couple of times, I shout loudly and clearly, "Everything's alright now." Without waiting for a reply, I turn around and head back to the kitchen.
I built a small fire on one of the stove's burners using sticks and clubs as firewood. Then I placed meat and some potatoes on the embers while I tallied the loot.

3925 copper coins, and after combining the first 100, they become 1 silver coin, for a total of 39 silver coins and 25 copper coins. But nothing compares to those two spiritual cores, which cost approximately 700-1000 gold coins or one platinum coin each.
Thank goodness both cores are cards I had tucked away in my underwear, for fear of being robbed or worse, murdered by my own family while I sleep.
Minutes later, the first to emerge from the basement is Carmen, the second sister before Vanessa. "What happened?" she asks me, but without taking her eyes off the bonfire with several pieces of meat.
At this point, as you know, there are two versions of the story, a short one and a longer one, depending on what you're looking for. I can tell you the first version to avoid any problems, or the second version if you like drama.
For my part, I just shrug. "They're gone." I say before grabbing a piece of meat and taking a bite, pointing in a random direction as I take another bite.
"Where are those monsters?" Aunt Laura asks behind Carmen's back. To my surprise, Carmen answers, "They're gone." After answering, she approaches the bonfire and sits down opposite Drake.
I grab another piece of meat and throw it to Carmen. She catches it and immediately takes a bite. "God, that's good." She says, still chewing. I take one of the potatoes and turn it over.
"Guys, why don't we go back to the basement.? We'll be safe there." Raquel, Vanesa and Carmen's mother, says as she arrive by the campfire.
Drake just shakes his head a couple of times as he turns the second potato over, hoping for a better roast.
"Mom, what happened.?" Vanessa asked before seeing both Drake and his sister Carmen sitting in front of the campfire.
"We have to go back to the basement," Raquel said, turning around and taking Vanessa's hand. Then she looked at her sister Laura, gesturing with her eyes for them all to return to the basement.
Although Laura didn't understand why they were leaving Drake alone, she remained silent and followed her sister.
Laura's daughter, Elena, was about to leave the basement, but her mother stopped her. "Come on, honey, we have to go back." Laura told her daughter. The girl didn't understand why they had to go back, since just five minutes ago both women were there. (Laura and Raquel, her aunt...) complain about the space, the humidity, the darkness, and being locked up eating moldy bread.
"Here." Drake said. The boy stood up, took out the gun, and handed it back to Raquel. The woman didn't understand the boy's gesture, while she stared intently at the gun in her hand before looking up at the boy's face, searching for an answer.
Drake seemed to understand Raquel's expression and said with an awkward laugh, "Five shots left." Raquel looked at the gun again and nodded, understanding the problem, before putting the gun back in the apron of her dress.
Each of them had a different idea in mind:
For Drake, having a gun with only five shots was more of a problem than a solution because of the noise generated with each shot, which exposed his location to the enemy.
For Raquel, it's the quickest way out of the problem: five people, five shots.
Raquel's thoughts are interrupted by Elena's voice telling her mother, "Mom, I need to go to the bathroom." Before Laura can answer, Raquel glances toward the campfire and notices two pieces of meat next to two roasted potatoes, immediately coming up with an idea. "Tell Drake to take you." An awkward silence of several minutes follows.
The two women immediately lock eyes. Raquel smiles and looks toward the campfire where the meat and roasted potatoes are.
Laura immediately understands the point and says, while pointing toward the door, "Yeah, honey, tell Drake to walk you outside." Elena is left speechless. (Are her mother and aunt suggesting Drake look at her bare butt?)
Before the girl can answer, Laura looks at Elena's face and then her gaze shifts to the campfire, specifically to where the food is. (Why?) Elena asks silently.
Laura responds in kind. (Honey, honey, for God's sake, do you want to keep eating stale, soggy bread.?) The girl immediately shakes her head and nods before speaking aloud and confidently. "Come on Drake, come with me to the bathroom."
The two walk together for a few meters. Drake follows closely behind Elena, holding a lit torch, but Elena veers off when they reach the door and leaves the house. They wander aimlessly for several meters, with Elena always ahead of Drake, until they reach some bushes.
The girl doesn't go to the other side of the bushes; she simply lifts her dress, gathering the fabric in the front, and pulls down her extra-long granny panties before sitting down.
The sound of the running water is faint but constant, lasting more than 20 seconds before finally fading. During all this time, thanks to the torch and the moonlight, the boy doesn't miss a single detail of Elena's backside: its skin tone, shape, and plumpness.
When Elena finishes using the restroom, she finally gets up, straightens her underwear and dress, before turning away without showing her face, staring at the floor.
Drake grabs the girl's arm as she walks past him. "Don't even think about looking at my butt again." Elena says, somewhat embarrassed, but Drake doesn't respond. He simply holds up a cheesecake.
Just seeing the dessert, the girl doesn't hesitate before grabbing the cheesecake and eating it in one bite, as if she were starving. "Don't you have any more.?" Elena asks, her mouth still full. The boy doesn't answer this time; instead, he raises his other hand, holding another pancake between his fingers.
The girl lunges for the pancake, but Drake stops her and says, "That's all for today." Elena wasn't satisfied and was about to lift her dress as she turned around, but Drake stops her. "Tomorrow you can show a little more, but in daylight." This time Elena doesn't answer, but finally nods a couple of times and ends up asking:
"You don't mind, do you.?" Elena points to the house.
"What are you talking about.?" the boy asks, somewhat confused, and adds, "Are you talking about using me as a sacrifice against the Goblins or about stealing food.?" The first option never crossed Elena's mind, and after thinking for a moment, she knew it was true, but she quickly composed herself and asked, "Food, I'm asking about the food.."
Drake shakes his head and shows the girl a couple of strips of meat, pieces of bread, and freshly cut fruit in his pocket. "No, that doesn't compare to the stuff I took from those goblins." Then Drake seems to remember something and adds, "By the way, I found a lot of food stolen by the goblins, but there's no silver or gold." Elena looks at Drake like he's an idiot for asking such a question.
"Of course not, All the silver, gold, and jewels are always with the village chief." After hearing Elena's answer, it's Drake who doesn't understand anything.
Elena sees her opportunity and points to the cheesecake in the boy's hands. "Want to know.?" Drake looks at the cake in his hand and nods before throwing it at the girl.
Elena, with a big smile on her lips, catches the cheesecake in mid-air with both hands and says... "The village chief trades the things we find for basic supplies, and when tragedies like this happen, he always has a shelter available where he can take refuge along with all those things."
Drake seemed to remember something about a particular heavily guarded house, where several people had forbidden anyone from approaching, but he kept quiet. Before entering the house, the boy summoned three Goblin Soldiers along with a Goblin Scout and ordered them to head to that location to harass them all night.
They both entered the house and arrived in front of the campfire. Carmen looked sad as she stared intently at the fire, until she looked up and saw her cousin Elena eating a cheesecake. But before she could ask, Elena headed down to the basement, yawning and stretching lazily. arms.
Carmen waits a few minutes before going to look for her cousin Elena.
Twenty minutes later, the three Goblin Soldiers and the Goblin Scout arrived in front of the village chief's house.
In the middle of the night, several houses around the village chief's house began to catch fire, just before the second wave of attacks.
The fire was so intense that it was almost impossible for the Goblins not to notice it from a distance, drawing all their attention.
