"It's me. Mr. Tunner asked me to pick you up," responded Secretary Hayes.
"Thank you. May I have Mr. Tunner's phone number?" Lenny asked again at this moment.
Secretary Hayes paused for a moment, then smiled and gave the number. Lenny checked the number on her phone to make sure it matched, and only then she felt assured.
"Sorry, just to be safe," Lenny explained as she put her phone away.
"Totally understandable! Better safe than sorry! Only a backpack for luggage?" Secretary Hayes nodded and replied with a smile.
"And a suitcase, which I've already sent back by courier!"
At the time, for some reason, she thought about having her family receive the local specialties she had purchased, so she shipped it back.
It cost her one hundred and twenty in courier fees.
Thinking back now, her heart still aches!
Sigh, she should have just carried it back home herself!
"Alright, let's go then!" Secretary Hayes nodded with a smile.
Lenny followed Secretary Hayes and got into the car.
"Are we heading directly to the airport now?"
"Yes, Mr. Tunner has something to attend to and will head straight to the airport later."
"Alright, thank you!"
Lenny didn't ask anything further.
After a while, her phone rang.
She saw it was Even Tunner calling and answered it.
"Hello..."
"Who called just now?"
On the other end was a somewhat indifferent male voice, but the tone wasn't bad.
"This is Lenny." Lenny responded, a little speechless.
Thinking about this guy named Even Tunner, does he not even have her number saved!
"I asked Secretary Hayes to go pick you up!" The person on the other end paused, seemingly trying to recall who Lenny was, before replying.
"I've been picked up, we're about to head to the airport!"
"Got it! Anything else?"
"Nothing!"
"Alright, then, I'm busy!"
"Okay!"
Lenny wanted to hang up the phone with a bang, this guy was so annoying.
Just because you're busy, does that make you great, acting like she's a big trouble.
Her mom entrusted her to be taken care of by such an annoying uncle.
Aren't they afraid he would mistreat her?

she is indeed a trouble to him after all.
The guy just behaved a little coldly, he didn't actually do anything abusive.

Once they arrived at the airport, Secretary Hayes directly led her to the VIP area, waiting for Mr. Tunner to arrive.
Lenny asked Secretary Hayes,
"Secretary Hayes, what time is our flight?"
"In half an hour, I won't be with you, you'll be on the same flight as Mr. Tunner." Secretary Hayes glanced at the time before answering.
"Oh, okay!" Lenny nodded and continued to patiently wait.
