So Even Tunner, who already gets air sick, was further tormented by Lenny throughout the journey, and by the time they reached the airport, his handsome face was so gloomy it seemed like it could start dripping water.
The plane was ready to land.
Even Tunner nudged Lenny.
Lenny woke up groggily, rubbed her eyes, looked around, and then gasped,
"Why are there so many people?"
"You're on a plane. Did you think you were in your bedroom?" Even Tunner glanced at her and asked.
"No, I thought I was in the bathroom!" Lenny replied sheepishly.
"Uh..."
Lenny quickly covered her mouth, looking at Even Tunner with an embarrassed smile.
She had been dreaming of desperately looking for a restroom.
Then she woke up to see so many people and didn't immediately realize what was happening.
"Um... I was just dreaming!" Lenny awkwardly explained.
Even Tunner's eyes seemed to spark with a trace of amusement.
Lenny's face turned red instantly, so she diverted her attention to the scene outside the window.
The announcement over the intercom was notifying passengers of the plane's descent, with a ground temperature of eight degrees Celsius, advising everyone to keep warm.
Lenny suddenly felt how warm her hometown was.
Eight degrees Celsius, and above zero at that.
Unlike the university she attended, where it frequently dropped below zero.
She was almost frozen into ice.
While waiting to disembark, Lenny had already put on her down jacket.
She looked a bit exaggerated.
Even Tunner glanced at her but said nothing.
Lenny also glanced down at herself, and finally decided,
Better to die from being too hot than too cold!
She followed Even Tunner out of the cabin.
During this time, she almost fell after tripping over a chair leg, but Even Tunner caught her.
Even Tunner didn't react much; once she stood steady, he released her and softly reminded,
"Watch your step!"
"Oh!" Lenny replied.
In fact, she wasn't a child anymore; it was a complete accident, seriously.
They got off the plane, went through the VIP passage, and got into the car.
Thinking about going home, seeing her grandma, dad, and mom, and having delicious food made Lenny unable to stop smiling.
So, she started making small talk with Even Tunner,
"Mr. Tunner, are you coming back for the Spring Festival this time?"
Even Tunner glanced at Lenny but gave a somewhat unrelated answer,
"My name is Tunner!"
"I know!" Lenny replied with a smile.
It's the same pronunciation as that food place, isn't it?
"You can just call me by my name!" Even Tunner cleared his throat and said.
"Isn't that inappropriate? You are an elder!"
Actually, Lenny initially wanted to say, you're so old!
But she stopped herself in time.
