Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Great world Eden, Birth of the MC

The Great World of Eden

The world of Eden is vast—its diameter spans approximately 88,695 miles (142,800 kilometers), more than eleven times that of Earth. Its volume is over 1,300 times larger, making it comparable to Jupiter in size. On the massive continent of Rukk, home to hundreds of powerful kingdoms, lies a kingdom called Kasadin. Kasadin, located in a far corner of Eden, boasts fifteen gigantic cities and over 8,000 valleys spread across 11.84 million square kilometers—an area as vast as East Asia.

In one of these valleys, a place called Estes, a large carriage stood still. Outside its door, a young man waited anxiously. The carriage itself was massive, nearly 100 square meters in size, standing 5 meters tall and 25 meters wide—more like a house than a vehicle. It was pulled by eight towering white horses, each standing 3 meters tall. These were bull horses, renowned for their strength.

Suddenly, the door creaked open.

A young woman in a maid's attire stepped out and bowed.

"Master, it's done. You may enter now."

The young man straightened, nodded, and stepped inside. This was no ordinary carriage—it was an artifact, crafted from clear wood, a mystical material as strong as steel and impervious to bullets. It emitted a calming fragrance.

He hurried through another door, flung it open, and shouted with worry and joy.

"Elma! Are you okay? Where's our baby?!"

Inside the room stood an old woman with silver hair, a young boy of about fifteen, and a woman resting on a king-sized bed.

Realizing his excitement, the young man bowed apologetically.

"Ah—sorry! I was just so excited... my first child!"

He turned to the old woman.

"Thank you, Doctor. Please accept this humble gift." He handed her a ring.

"You don't need to be so formal," she replied with a warm smile. "Just call me Grandma Sena. Elma is fine. Come, Amy—go check on the baby."

Amy, the fifteen-year-old boy, was led outside.

The young man—Amy—rushed to his wife.

"Elma... are you alright?"

She smiled and handed him the baby. "He's a boy."

Amy burst into joyful laughter.

"HAHAHA! A son! So, what should we name him?"

Elma's soft voice answered, "Arthur. Arthur Kasadin."

Amy nodded proudly.

"Then it's decided!"

Suddenly, he remembered something. He placed a shimmering necklace on the bedside table.

"This is for you, Arthur. A Mental Crystal—one of only two in the world. Forged by the greatest blacksmith in Eden. It will help you strengthen your mind and rise to greatness."

He kissed Elma on the forehead, then gently kissed baby Arthur. He gave Elma a wink before stepping out to prepare for departure.

Amy had once been the Crown Prince of Kasadin but was exiled after killing a high-ranking official who had insulted Elma. Forced to leave the kingdom, he and his wife began a new life in exile—and now, their son Arthur was born.

Inside Arthur's Mind

Inside the newborn baby, a soul stirred. Ji sen, now Arthur Kasadin, praised his parents mentally.

"Nice! What a cool name! I'm the MC! Let's goooo!"

After mentally celebrating, he settled down and focused.

"Blu, can you give me an introduction to this world? I only know the name Eden."

Poof—a soft puff of air sounded. A blue creature appeared.

As Blu materialized, Arthur's mind was sucked into a void—a black space where Blu began to explain.

"Yes, Eden's diameter is 88,695 miles, over eleven times that of Earth, and its volume is more than 1,300 times greater. The continent Rukk is home to—"

They talked for a while before Arthur interrupted.

"Damn, this world's huge! It's almost the size of Jupiter!"

Blu chuckled.

"Exactly. And it holds many secrets. It's a world full of dangers... and wonders."

Arthur nodded solemnly.

"I want to explore it... though it's scary."

He then asked, "So how do I get stronger? When does that start?"

Blu smirked.

"Maybe when you learn to walk. You're still a month-old baby, remember? Imagine a super-powerful infant."

Arthur laughed.

"Well, with a family like this, I'll grow fast."

Then something struck him.

"Oh! The Lucky Box—what's that?"

"Think of the window," Blu instructed.

Arthur thought, and a glowing blue panel appeared:

Blu laughed.

"No need to point—just focus your mind on it."

Arthur's eyes narrowed.

"Wait... the Blood of the Ruined Kings—is that the cube I swallowed earlier? I'm so smart!"

"Open the Lucky Box," Blu instructed, this time with a serious tone.

Arthur focused. The box opened with a glow.

Inside was a black book, along with 89 XP, and a system prompt:

He glanced at Blu—who seemed to be silently judging him.
