By noon, Amy had already pulled Hannah to the big tree in the back to take a break.
With nothing to do, Amy decided to play video games with Hannah.
Hannah's gaming skills were not great—in fact, almost nonexistent. When she first started playing, even turning directions felt clumsy, her expertise limited to simple web-based mini-games.
But Amy was very skilled. As the game began, she instructed Hannah to simply follow her lead, do nothing, and only strike the final blow at the right moment.
The two worked seamlessly together, with Hannah comfortably winning under Amy's guidance.
The afternoon wasn't particularly busy, and by the time everything was sorted out, the student council president suggested treating everyone to a meal.
Hannah had already spotted Arnold Simmons standing under a nearby tree waiting for her, so she didn't join the others.
Laughing, Amy teased her, "Go, go! If you don't come back tonight, don't worry—I'll cover for you, no problem at all."
