Another thing surprised Amon aside from Wu Di's presence. Wu Di's cultivation level was at the Beginning Ancestor Stage. On paper, it was roughly equal in strength to Amon's Beginning Overlord Stage.
Amon had gone through tremendous efforts to fast-track his cultivation to that extent. Wu Di's cultivation level was weaker than his when they last saw each other. He also knew from Sima Fang that Wu Di entered this Upper World much later than when he entered the Lower World. He couldn't think of any way for Wu Di to match his cultivation speed.
What Amon didn't know was that Wu Di's rapid advancement came from a special item, the Ascension Heavenly Lotus. It was the same item Hierophant Shen Yi had given to Zheng Chun.
