AUTHOR'S POV
Scott woke up from a long good night's sleep. He stared at his wild flowers that he placed in a glass of water on his side table. This is the first time that he received flowers for his dead parents. Diana's comforting words last night made him feel numb for a while, forgetting all the pain and anger that he's been holding in. So many things happened in one night, and he could hardly bear it all. He felt so much better opening up to his Luna, showing his most vulnerable state. He smiled foolishly on the mere fact that Diana already imprinted on him, as his heart started to beat normally now. He clutched on his shirt that Diana wore, and smelled it hard with one hand.
'I can't wait to make you mine', he thought before getting up to start the day.
LATER AT THE BEACH
The weather was perfect for some fun at the beach. All guests were encouraged to lounge in the west coast of the island and swim in the designated swimming area there. The shoreline was surrounded by the same cabanas with sheer curtains, brown lounge chairs and white beach umbrellas. Diana, who was still shaken from the fortune telling session she had with Emilia, dragged herself out because she doesn't want to sulk in her bungalow all day. 'Maybe some crowd would distract me', she thought. She had to call the medics to assist Emilia out of her bungalow, and make sure that she's all better. Nevertheless, it was a strange morning that surely gave her a fright.
Meanwhile, Scott who was in a very good mood chose to hang out with the pack at the beach. Wearing black sunglasses, they were all topless looking like eye candy men for all the ladies in the shore. The ladies can't help but giggle and steal glances at them. Truly a sight for every woman to enjoy. Occupying some lounge chairs, the boys bathe under the warm heat of the sun with some beers and oysters.
"Someone's in a good mood", Cory, the smallest and most talkative one in the pack blurted out as he grin.
"Can't you tell? The Luna imprinted on him yesterday", Allen, the biggest and most serious member of the pack said while drinking his beer.
"Alpha Scott even got flowers from her. Ooooh!!", Austin, the one with a scar on his eyebrow, said as he try hard to hide his laugh. "I've always thought you're not a flowery type of guy, Alpha", he bursted in laughter uncontrollably.
"Who said I'm not", Scott irritably threw some sand on Austin's body. Austin just laughed out even more.
"So, when are we going to meet her?", Cory asked curiously, tilting his head over Scott.
Before Scott could even answer, all eyes turned to the woman wearing a big straw hat with a thick black ribbon. Walking towards one of the empty cabanas, she unassumingly flaunted her incredibly voluptuous body in a black bikini with gold chains and a long black wrapped up skirt. It was a sight they all refuse to miss. "Eyes on the beach boys", Scott hissed as he clench his jaw. His pack couldn't take their eyes off his Luna, which made his hackles rise. "That's my Luna", he said. At ones, the pack cleared their throats, struggling to unscrew their eyes away from the Alpha's imprinted woman..
Noticeably, Scott caught a dejected aura coming from Diana. At a distance, he could tell that she seemed to be in a daze, not minding anyone around her as she settle in one of the empty lounge chairs not too far from them. A few men kept standing by near her, while most steal glances at her. It started to get into the Alpha's nerves. "Damn it", Scott blasted.
"Oh that's our Luna!", Lucas spotted as he slurp on an oyster. "Fresh… and delicate", he clinked bottles with Austin and David with a wink.
"The oysters?", Scott entailed, making sure that Lucas was referring to the food.
Standing nearby was Christina who rolled her eyes at the sight of Diana. She noticed Diana have caught the attention of the pack. So, she and her friends tried to steal the show by flaunting their curves in her brightly colored thong bikinis and cut-out monokinis blocking the view leading to Diana. "Hey boys!", she called.
"Here's comes trouble", Lucas said as he choke on his beer. Their space suddenly got crowded with Christina and her friends filling their cabana. The omega wolf turned up her speakers and played a very loud and techno music. Her friends started screaming as they bring the party over.
"I think I'm gonna puke", Cory said as he fake puke on Austin. The pack tried as hard to just play it cool.
Meanwhile, Diana was minding her own little world. She took off her hat and uncovered herself from her wrapped up skirt revealing her flawless skin and gold chained bikini. She fixed her bikini in place, before putting on some sun block lotion starting with her arms, and then, on her legs. Scott felt uncomfortable as he catch glimpses of Diana putting on some lotion. How he imagine himself touching her supple skin with his rough hands. He breathe deeply and pursed his lips as he let out his growing temptations. Clearing his throat, tried to move his gaze away. In his mind, he wanted to poke out the eyes of all the men who have seen her this way. 'It would be nice if I'm the only one who gets to see that tattoo', moving his gaze at her dream catcher tattoo by her right hip. The pack fell silent, keeping it all in. It was too entertaining for them to watch Scott struggle in his seat, keeping himself at bay in the presence of his Luna. They ordered more beers to celebrate such rare and good time, as they cheer in the sounds Christina is pumping in her speakers.
Diana sauntered her way on the warm sand to the beach. Then, she slowly dipped her self in the water until it's chest deep. She closed her eyes tasting the saltiness of the ocean breeze. She laid back and floated on the water. Closing her eyes, she found pleasure as the current of the ocean waves that take over her body. Hearing nothing but the muffled noise from the people on the beach shore, and the bubbling sounds of the water, Diana found her connection with the waters. Suddenly, she turned, took a deep breath and dived in. She swam in the deeper, and colder depth of the ocean. The silence under was profound, giving her a sense of comfort... away from the busy shore, away from all the clamor. She stayed underwater, held her breath until she reached her bliss.
For the third time, Christina blundered Scott to put some sunblock lotion on her. She can't swim anyway, but, she desperately wanted to break Scott's gazes on Diana. However, Scott never budged as if he turned down the external volumes no matter how loud Christina's voice is over the music she that she played on the speakers. Scott intently watched his Luna, who hasn't come up yet from diving underwater. Suddenly, he started to get worried. He felt some uneasiness in his heart, knowing that something's wrong. 'What happened, Diana?', Scott thought.
"Chris, you chill. Why don't you grab some beer?" Lucas gave her a cheeky smile. The omega wolf pouted her lips and sat at Scott's lounge chair.
A few moments after, Diana finally got out of the water. Immediately, a female island attendant handed Diana a blue and white striped beach towel for her to dry and cover up. She mouthed her thanks and immediately wrap the towel around her waist.
"Nicely done, Scott. I didn't see that coming!!", Lucas said. He knew Scott won't just sit around and let the all the men by the beach pry their eyes on his Luna. The pack couldn't help but wave to Diana, except for Scott, as she walk by. Diana furrowed her brows and ignored the weird boys who just waved at her. She laid her eyes on Scott, who was sitting with none other than Christina.
Diana pretended as if she didn't seen Scott. She won't deal with jealous girlfriends today. Not today. Scott bit his lower lip, from being totally ignored. 'What did I do?', he wondered, knowing that they separated last night in a very good mood. Diana's prickly presence made the pack drop their jaw. The Luna seemed to have rejected their Alpha. Things just got more spicy at the beach.
Leaning back on the lounge chair, Diana dries her damp hair with her hands. Twisting and squeezing her locks as she watch the people around her savor the coastal air. Everyone found joy getting sun kissed, and achieving a nice tan. Drinking a nice, and cold beverage, burying their feet in the toasted grains. Life seemed simpler seeing this view. Everything is slow, and laid-back. It's almost like she doesn't want to wake up from such a beautiful dream. And like all dreams, they end soon. For a while, Diana forgot all about what happened in her bungalow with Emilia. Nature and being solo does the magic. She then stood up and wore her cover up skirt. Then, she sat down as she get lost in the view of the waves once again.
"A… penny for your thoughts?", a guy approached Diana and sat freely on the lounge chair beside her.
"Do I know you?", Diana covered up with the beach towel, glaring at the guy who's now trying to ruin her building up mood.
"I'm … William, do you remember? At the… bar?", William said as he moved forward, showing his face side to side.
Up close, Diana noticed his eyes are dilated and his body language is a bit off. 'He's high', she thought. "Oh yes, How could I forget?", Diana maintained a proper distance from him.
"I saw and... I just can resist meeting you and uh... I just wanted to apologize…. about the… uhh.. way I treated you last.. time", William grinned, peering out from his hazy vision from Diana's pinkish toes to her legs, then to her covered body up to her gentle face. "You see, my friends and I … had a bet and…. they dared me let you… put lotion on my back? Is… that okay?", he said, as he grab Diana's sunblock and placed it over his lips.
"Well then, you should pay the bet up. Because I won't be part of your games", Diana bravely said.
"Is he bothering you?", Scott stepped in between Diana and William lounges, taking off his sunglasses. Definitely, the Alpha is oozing with so much fit of his rage that he'd want to throw fists the man who dared approach his Luna.
"It's cool man! I… was just talking..oh umm.. apologizing to her, bro", William said squinting as he could hardly look up at Scott.
"I guess, you're done talking.", Scott said clenching his fist as he give a death stare to William. Without a word, William left waddling and scratching his head.
"I got that", Diana sighed sharply, as she sat upright. She hid her trembling body under the towel, refusing to show Scott that she was really scared.
"I know", Scott replied, as he sat in front of Diana on the same lounge chair that she is sitting on. He was definitely showing everyone around the beach that the lady with the sapphire eyes is his. "I'm here to collect your third debt", Scott suddenly said.
