Naruto had finally beat floor 99, and right now he had just managed to level his pain nullification to the max, so no pain.
his regeneration was also high up there, so naruto had not much to worry about.

Sadie died due to lack of water on the desert stage, nightingale passed easily, Nick died at 63, and Yae passed too.
the group members could now chat with each other, but Naruto couldn't.
Naruto made his way to floor 100, the final floor.
there was a platform and Naruto looked around to see a coliseum of sorts. it was full to the brim of everyone's loved ones and random people.
as naruto looked around he saw a small purple-haired girl. she looked to be younger than Sadie and had stars in her eyes but waved excitedly at Naruto.

"In one corner we have someone known to be the battle maniac of Konoha. the demon of the leaf, and a whole bunch of other titles that I can't be bothered to remember" the white-haired woman I saw earlier said.
Beside her was an older purple-haired woman and the two of them seemed to be married.
"and the new challenger, queen of shadows, yata yata yata," the white-haired woman said.
"a duel between two people, Scáthach vs Naruto Uzumaki. a battle that will go down throughout the omniverse" The roar of the crowd was very loud.
there was my teacher on the platform with me and now we were forced to fight.
"I suppose now we can see how stronger you have gotten," Scáthach said spinning her spear.
a bunch of curses went through my head as I prepared to attack or to be attacked.
'above' I thought and raid my spear above my head.
just in time as my teacher's spear slammed into mine. the ground cracked and a crater formed under me.
I met her with equal force. spear against spear.
we last track of how long we've been fighting but one thing was for certain. we were enjoying ourselves.
the shit-eating grin on my face, and the smile on my teacher's. two forces of equal power.
the arena was long destroyed and the cheers of the crowd only got louder the longer it happened.

I managed to block the kick sent to my chest before sliding between her legs. however, she predicted it got me into an arm lock.
using my strength to my advantage I lifted her even after she broke my arm. I didn't even flinch as I slammed her into the ground.
and the split second she let go, it was over.
I slipped behind her and restrained her arms with my legs, and put her in a headlock.
Naruto stood unflinching and unmoving. even as teacher tried to pry herself free. Naruto leaned down just before she fell unconscious and gave her lips a soft kiss.
"rest well" I whispered as she slumped unconscious.
"winner, Naruto Uzumaki" the woman announced.
I stood there passed out holding my teacher, and even with my broken body, I didn't let go.
...
I felt something hugging me and saw Scáthach still in my arms sleeping.
I smiled softly and then kissed her forehead as I hugged her once more. Naruto lay there stroking his teacher's head and enjoying the moment.
while Naruto was physically there, he wasn't mentally there. Naruto was in his forge testing metals to craft himself a beautiful ring for the woman of his dreams.
it was a nice purple ring, a pair. the one for teacher would be the one with the diamond, and the one for me will be matching hers.

it took a while to make the rings but eventually, he did. Naruto made a container for the rings as well so everything was good.
oh yeah...things were looking up.
