Roxy watched Marcus's back. He was tensed, and she could feel it. She forgave him already. She didn't want him to keep on feeling sad for what he has done.
The damage has been done already, and he couldn't change that. She too couldn't change that. They should leave it behind them and start anew.
She stood on her knees since they were on a bed, and she hugged him from behind. Her face buried in the crook of his neck, inhaling his masculine scent.
She didn't say anything. Just held him tightly. When he relaxed in her hold after some minutes, she broke the silence.
" I was mad at you... I can't deny it." She paused then resumed.
" When I saw you were the one to released those pictures, I thought it was just a nightmare. I could have never believed you could do such a thing." She reminisced those memories, her eyes welling up, a bitter smile plastered on her face.
She took in a deep breath to calm herself down, and bite down on her trembling lips.
" That's why as soon as my plane landed, I went straight to your home..." Her voice broke. She couldn't contain her emotions anymore. It was futile anyway. So she decided to let them out.
" I was seeking for answers Marc." A tear escaped from her eyes, running down her cheeks.
" I came to you first, hoping that it was all a lie. I couldn't make myself to think that you could do it... Post those pictures by yourself."
She tightened her hold around his waist despite her trembling hands.
" I never thought, deep down, that you would even think of doing such a thing to me... Or anyone else. Still, I decided to come to you despite being mad, to sort things out. But when I saw you in bed with that girl... I couldn't bear it so I ran away."
