Letting thoughts about how Amelia or perhaps one of his wives might have taken a likely passing interest in her fade to the back of his mind, Zeph walked with purpose as he moved toward the bridge. Even though his steps were not slow, he did not rush, allowing cool calculated focus on the task at hand to come to the front of his attention.
