After checking on Roxy Riley and a few other corporate executives who had taken advantage of Zeph's generosity and Praetor Stella Azul's ability to access the Quantum Wings of the Abyss, and finding them passed out in the room that had been used for serious council meetings, with their heads and empty bottles on the table, Zeph took Rena to his Admiral's quarters.
Locking the door behind them he gave her a weak smile and sat on the edge of the bed. It wasn't exactly an invitation to join him in it, but they both knew they would likely end up in ot tangled together naked or in separate rooms depending on how the conversation went, with the former being far more likely.
"Corporate deals and wine, your mother is going to wake up with a bad hangover and hopefully a lucrative merger. I can delay the start of the remodeling by a few hours, but the timetable doesn't leave much wiggle room."
