Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

The ritual chamber was silent.Cold stone walls, dark candles flickering with crimson flame, and the faint scent of iron filled the air. At the center of the room stood a stone altar carved with ancient runes — symbols of the old Kyuketsuki blood rites.

Akira stood beside it, arms crossed, his expression unreadable.Naoki and Kisho were kneeling before him, surrounded by a handful of Dukes and Marquesses who had gathered to witness history.

In the middle of the altar lay the captured shinobi — restrained, half-conscious, his chakra sealed by special talismans.

"Begin," Akira ordered quietly.

Naoki approached the altar, holding a small crystal vial filled with shimmering crimson liquid. Inside, faint sparks of blue light swirled."This is the fusion essence," she said. "Your blood, my Lord — mixed with the chakra of the captured shinobi. The ratio is exact to the level where the reaction stabilizes without total rejection."

Akira gave a faint nod.'So it begins. The birth of something this world has never seen.'

Naoki gently poured the essence into the subject's mouth. The reaction was immediate. The man convulsed violently, veins bulging, skin cracking like shattered porcelain.

"Hold him!" Kisho barked, as two Marquesses pinned the shinobi's arms down.

The candles flickered madly. The crimson flames turned blue for a brief moment, and the scent of ozone filled the air.

Akira stepped closer, his eyes glimmering in fascination. He could feel the waves of energy bursting out of the man — the wild clash between blood essence and chakra.

'They're fighting each other... no, merging.'

Suddenly, the man let out a low growl. His pupils turned red, his canines sharpened, and his body began to regenerate the torn skin faster than before.

"Naoki," Akira said softly. "He's adapting."

She nodded, watching with trembling anticipation. "Yes... the fusion is taking hold. His chakra system isn't rejecting it — it's being rewritten!"

The shinobi's screams turned into deep, bestial roars. His eyes darted toward Akira, bloodlust and confusion mixing into something primal.

"Fascinating," Akira murmured. He raised his hand slightly, and the man froze mid-roar, his body trembling.

The ability Suppression activated — the ancient power of blood dominance.

The hybrid fell silent, his eyes wide with terror as his body instinctively obeyed the command.

'Even with chakra... he's still bound by our bloodline. So the hierarchy remains intact.'

Akira lowered his hand. "He can be controlled. That means the fusion succeeded."

The others stared in awe. They had seen power before, but not like this. This was something beyond the understanding of mortals or vampires.

Naoki stepped forward, carefully examining the transformed shinobi."Heart rate steady. Chakra flow constant... astonishing. His body shows no rejection signs. My Lord, he's the first of his kind — a true hybrid."

Akira's crimson eyes gleamed faintly. "Then he will be our prototype."

He turned to Kisho. "Keep him under guard. I want every detail of his behavior, strength, and chakra capacity recorded. If he proves stable, we'll begin trials with selected members."

Kisho bowed deeply. "As you command, your Majesty."

Later, when everyone had left, Akira remained in the chamber alone. He looked down at the restrained hybrid — now calm, breathing steadily, faint red markings glowing across his chest.

'He's still human enough to possess a mind... but vampire enough to obey. A perfect balance.'

He extended his hand, and a droplet of his own blood floated from his fingertip, hovering above the hybrid's chest before sinking into it.

The hybrid's body twitched — then went still.

Akira could feel it — the faint connection, like a thread of consciousness linking them.'So even the bond can be transferred through my blood. Good. That means control won't be an issue.'

He smiled slightly. "You'll be the beginning of something far greater than chakra or blood."

The next night, Naoki entered the throne hall once again, her expression grave."My Lord... the hybrid has begun producing chakra on his own."

Akira's gaze sharpened. "Explain."

"At first, we thought it was residual energy. But the readings are clear — his essence is regenerating both blood essence and chakra simultaneously. The two systems are sustaining each other."

A moment of silence. Then Akira's smile returned — calm, calculated, terrifying.

"So we've created perpetual energy."

Naoki nodded. "If this continues, his stamina will surpass both humans and vampires. He won't need to feed as often either — the chakra itself nourishes his body."

'A self-sustaining organism... endless growth... evolution.'

Akira turned toward the grand map on the wall — a depiction of the surrounding territories, dotted with the names of clans and regions.

"Prepare the next phase," he said quietly.Naoki looked up. "Next phase?"

"Yes," Akira said, his eyes locked on two particular names written in the northern territories.Uchiha and Senju.

"They have what we lack — thousands of chakra users, bloodlines with potential. We will not fight them yet. But soon... we will hunt them, study them, and harvest their power."

He turned away, the crimson moonlight falling across his pale face.

"The Kyuketsuki will rise again — and this time, not even the gods will decide who lives and who dies."
