"Ahh, the town's atmosphere is always murkier than the forest, right Russ?" Lance stretched his hands, signaling exhaustion as he spoke to Russ.
"Yeah, all these factories are killing it. Although we couldn't find the dragon's lair, I wasn't all bad. Well expect for the assassins." Russ responded.
They walked out of the forest and into town in no time.
"Alright, everyone should rest up, we're already close to the inn so head inside. I'll go send a report about the assassins to the Leader (the leader of their adventuring group)." Haggard said as he departed from them. 'Those assassins were unnaturally strong. We were lucky that they attracted the attention of a beast in the realm of an Ark mage. That gave us enough time to escape because they were forced to face it.'
