Gil came out from the crowd standing alone facing forward at Ryan and Lennox. Ryan faintly smiled looking down at him. Lennox frowned his face towards seeing Gil present.
"Hello sir Gil, it is good to see you."
Gil gently nodded his head forward greeting him back. He began walking forward standing near the stairs. He abruptly looked up the stairs at Lennox direction.
"It is good to see you too chief Lennox. How are you doing?" Gil asked.
"I'm a bit beaten up right now, but I will heal fine. How are you being doing sir?" Lennox slightly stretched a smile across his face, while hiding his truth feelings.
"We are here to discuss sir Ryan betrayal towards us. He has chosen to stand by the cyclopes side, and he abandoned his mission." said Gil.
"He is speaking the truth! Ryan has threaten us towards hunting down those monsters. We thought he was our friend, but his true feeling have shown themselves today. He must be reported to the adventurer guild." Hazel muttered stepping forward out the crowd. Lennox quietly listened to him speak.
Ryan casually laughed looking at Hazel direction. Gil started to walk up the stairs reaching Lennox side. He while raising his gaze his eyes met with Ryan. He spoke up suggesting they took the matter inside the house. Both Ryan and Lennox without hesitation agreed with his suggestion.
"You guys enter first will follow you from behind. You know I was hoping to have this meeting with everyone present but, let just have it already." Lennox spoke with a serious tone.
Both Hazel and Gil entered inside the door of the house. Ryan took a hard glance as they enter inside the house. Lennox face forward towards the crowd.
"Hey, listen here now. We are going inside to discuss important matter, we will be come to handle the matter here," said Lennox.
"What doing you mean now, what doing you need to discuss private? The issue is right in front of you now?"
The villagers started to question them on why the meeting needed to be handled private. Seeing their angry expressions the villagers wore on their faces, Lennox calmed the crowd down mentioning that they were going to hold a short meeting.
"We are only holding this meeting between ourselves to discuss other important things, but we will comeback outside to handle this matter between the cyclopes today. We have Ryan, he will condemned them if need so." Lennox muttered while staring at the crowd below.
The crowd below quietly listened to his words. Some of the villagers threw more questions thinking it was not wise for them to trust Ryan anymore, as he had declared to them that the cyclopes were his friends. Lennox frowned his face after hearing that comment.
"I promise it wouldn't be like that, I will make sure it happen such away. This will be a fare trial for anyone here and we will judge everyone equal," Lennox spoke with a firm voice. Most of the villagers were taken by his words some hesitated to believe him. But the majority of the villagers were at his side allowing the meeting to happen.
"We need a fare trial to resolve this issue. This monsters can not be left alive after what they have committed by killing many of our families and friends!" Shouting the villagers. They want punishment for the cyclopes actions.
The present cyclopes all gritted their teeth with a enrage look. They wanted to react, but a single halt from Ryan raising his hand stopped them from moving. They stood quiet listening to Lennox next words.
Lennox with a composed tone mentioned, saying, "The issue will be dealt with after we our done with the meeting. My people let us hold for a bit so that we can resolve another of things. I promise that I will solve this problem myself." He slowly turned his back with a serious look entering back inside the door. Ryan slightly chuckled following Lennox behind entering the door.
Inside the chief office room.
Both Gil and Hazel were seated on top of the couch. Lennox was seating behind his desk on a wood chair, and Ryan and Riley were standing next to the door. The atmosphere inside the room was intense as everyone quietly glared at each other without saying anything.
Gil slightly coughed leaning his upper torso straight, getting ready to utter his words. Immediately, all eyes shifted at him as his spoke there. He momentarily froze due to the intense pressure he was experiencing at the moment.
"Oh, I can see that no one ready to talk, so I will talk then." Gil muttered with a smug look. Everyone else present quietly looked at him.
"You can speak as much as you like, sir Gil. What would you like to say?" Lennox asked looked at Gil side.
"Enough now, you can stop acting formal now. We all know you know about us." Gil slightly chuckled turning his face aside. He gripped his hands together showing a disdainful look. "I don't know how you were able to find out, but that really ruin our plans. I guess the stars above were shining on top of your destiny."
Lennox answering with a calm look said, "I guess so."
"It doesn't matter how or when they find out this truth, but this would not change our objection plans. I would hate being the teller of bad news but many strong individuals our still backing us up. Even the world strongest adventurer can't held many individuals." said Hazel.
" You have confidence in them beating me right. Many we should seeing that for ourselves," Ryan said with a grin expression. Hazel was momentarily shook with the pressure coming of Ryan.
"Ryan! I see what you are trying to do by wanting wanting to anger him. But I won't let that happen no matter what hah," Lennox muttered while pointing out Hazel trying to enrage Ryan. Know that he wanted him to react out of anger to turn most of the villagers who still respect Ryan.
Ryan started laughing and said, "Haha, what person do you think I am to get angry by meaningless words like those. I don't lose my composer when every fool tries to insult me." His words came out as calm as they were insulting to Hazel. Veins started appearing on top of Hazel forehead a sign of his disliked towards ruin comment. He gritted his teeth giving a slight smile hiding his deep emotions. Ryan confidently smiled winking a eye at Hazel direction.
