Looking firm towards Ryan cold gaze, Hazel simply realized that he had to back up before he could get layout on the ground. Hazel started to step back from Ryan front, he was cautious about angring him any further.
"You are right to step back from him, he came here not to help us with the cyclopes, but to bully us due to us being weaker than him. I guess the adventurers this days have become thugs that bully the weak." Gil stated walking forward at Ryan and Hazel direction. He casually stared at Ryan face while taking his steps forward.
He finally stood next Hazel side his face glaring forward at Ryan. Ryan slightly chuckled glancing at Gil side. He laughed at remark that was said earlier ago. He mention that Gil was not as weak as he has shown everyone around. Gil faintly smiled to the comment.
"We were the one who requested you assistance towards getting rid of the cyclopes. Now you choose to protect the monsters that you were call on to destroy. Ryan you have been this place protect for many years. We have said to you during you visits here that the cyclops were dangerous monsters that needed to be kill, but you have refused us so many time. So many of the villagers have died by those monsters." Gil stated with a firm tone. Ryan quietly listened to his pointing words, that were blaming him for everything.
He took in his words slightly laughing to calm himself from rage out. Ryan realized that bastard Gil was trying to ruin his image towards of the villager. His face became gloomy as a shadow covered his eyes. Hazel was bother by Ryan laugher as they were expecting him to rage out. Ryan raised his hand covering his face as he began to laugh hard.
The tone of Ryan laughter began to lower as he took a serious look forward. His eyes were pierced between his fingers causing Gil to catch a glimpse of them. Ryan glaring caused him to get frozen on the spot. A menacing pressure of aut came out from Ryan body. Everybody else felt the pressure coming from Ryan including the cyclopes who had cold sweat across their faces.
"Do you find me to be a fool or what? I know what you have been doing here for some time now. We can choose to discuss this in front of everyone here, or we should find a quite spot to discuss all of this," Ryan faintly laughed looking at Gil.
Gil slightly smiled nodding his head in agreement. Hazel looked up at Gil with a confused expression. He tried to disapprove the demand, but Gil immediately shut him up from talking any further. Hazel was taken by surprised with Gil talking to him like that.
"What is wrong Gil?" Hazel asked.
"Stop talking now Hazel let's go hear what he need to say. Don't you see, he has given us achance prove ourselves." Gil said while a swept across his face.
"We should talk inside the chief resident. He is our leader after all." Gil turned his back walking away. Hazel follwed him from behind walking away as well.
Ryan turned to face Hemoth telling him to. come along with him. Hemoth was bewildered the request. The villagers all shout out of rage at the request. They soon question Ryan relationship with the cyclopes to allow them to go visit the chief resident.
Ryan calmly stared at the angry crowd. He slightly chuckled his face before turning his back walking away. "You can also come along as well. But I'm they won't murder your beloved chief."
The villagers took their chances and followed Ryan there. The large group all walk to the chief resident.
Sitting, down next to a desk, Lennox was seating quietly on a chair while his face glance towards Riley side. She was lying on her back on top of the couch. She has been slowly healing her injuries. Lennox glanced at her direction with a concern look.
"If you keep looking at me like I going to die I will get up from her to cut those eyes of you head." Riley muttered with a firm tone. Lennox nervously looked away towards the side. Riley tightly grabbed her injuries groaning though the pain she was feeling.
"I have to leave before they all arrive." Riley muttered with a serious look.
Lennox sat up from the chair walking close to the window. He looked outside the window seeing Ryan and other approaching the yard. He was followed behind the cy lopes and the villagers. Frowning her face looking upwards towards the ceiling.
"I can't believe your plan ended up working out. I guess I might have underestimated you for a while. Now I'm sure I should never mess with you." Lennox stated.
"The plan worked due to Ryan delivering every time. If it wasn't for him doing so much to make sure the plan works fine. I've never met anyone who thought like him before. I'm grateful that wasn't our enemy. A person with his power and thinking is a dangerous force to mess with. He reminds me of my father." Riley paused for a moment before getting disgust with her thought.
Hard footstep standed walking up the stairs of the house. Two knocks came from the door before Lennox told the person to come inside. The door slowly open as Ryan walked inside the door. He turned his gaze at Riley who was lying on the couch. He faintly smiled before losing the door behind him.
"You're still here?" Ryan asked looking at Riley.
Riley slowly lifted herself up from the couch, as she was about to stand up.from the couch Ryan called out for her to stop. She abruptly stared her puzzled face at Ryan firm expression.
"What do you mean I don't have to go anywhere?"
"Like I said, you can stay here and rest your injuries. Lennox come with me outside to talk to them." Ryan waved his hand calling for Lennox to step forward. Lennox body froze to move forward. He was woke up from his state by Ryan next calling him again.
"We'll see you after we're done alright," Ryan said, he winked his eye at Riley side. He and Lennox casually walked outside through the door closing it behind themselves leaving Riley to nurse her injuries.
Stepping outside the front door of the house, Lennox was shocked the see so many people ha e decided to come there. With his appearance shown the crowded villagers yelled out questioning their chief demands answers. His body was full of nervous energy with sweat pouring from his forehead.
A shadow walked up in front of him it being Ryan who immediately silence everyone present. Everyone present felt the pressure coming from Ryan words. Even the councilors standing inside the crowd felt it too. The cyclopes also felt the pressure from Ryan, they were surprised to see such pressure coming from a human.
"Have you forgotten why we came here to do. I don't have the whole day to talk to you people. I'm not the talking type, so please avoid pleasing me off now," Ryan firmly stared at the crowd with a hard glare. The sound of noise began to dial down after his words.
