"How was Reagan?"
When she heard the question, her soul left her body. She sucked in some air and tried not to show any reaction despite panicking deep inside.
She didn't expect Lilly Rose to ask her about Reagan at all. She knew that Lilly Rose hated Reagan to the point that the mere hearing of his name could send her to revolt. But now, she was the one who opened up about him.
It was totally unexpected and caught her off guard.
"I—I haven't seen him for a while. Last I heard about him was the freak accident that he was involved with, the one that I talked to you about."
"Why did you ask?"
Tiffany looked over her shoulder and found Lilly Rose staring at the closed door of Dra. Eva's office. She creased her brows and wondered what was Lilly Rose thinking and why she asked about Reagan—the person she didn't want to talk about.
