Jack was ready. From the moment he decided to reveal his status, he knew that something big was going to happen. But it was more than worth the risk for more than one reason. First of all, despite his many confirmed achievements, there was still no guarantee that he'd be fine. After all, Jack had no idea the extent and amount of claims made on his behalf.
What if someone claimed something crazy - like the fact that Jack had given birth to a realm? Yes, technically he had created the Sovereign realm and New Chelsea and probably even the Midnight realm so… okay maybe he'd be safe for that one, but there were still many things he'd never done.
What if someone claimed Jack had slow cooked chilli for a million years. Now, he had no idea why anyone would claim that, but he certainly hadn't done that. So, in summary, he wasn't all that safe just yet.
