Life wasn't easy without Alexander Collins, I really missed him to the maximum. I had to cope with the lifestyle and continued selling flowers. I was famous in the neighborhood for selling flowers and most of All... being kind to the kids that I met. I loved kids and gave them all the care that I had because I once Lost My own baby.
Every morning when I opened the shop, there was always two kids who came to buy roses. I loved the two baby girls called Rebecca and Isabella, I always called them Becca and Bella. Once again,I opened the shop and they came
"Morning Aunty Cara" they spoke simultaneously with warmness and smiles. I looked at them warmly and replied
" Morning to you my cute babies.... You want roses again don't you?"
Becca gave a nod and I turned to the left hand where I usually keep roses for them. While I was taking the red roses Bella whispered to Becca
" You know how much Uncle Xavier hates roses and you still persist to take one again!"
" But I love them Bella" Becca replied.
I took the roses and gave one to each of them. I then spoke
" Listen guys....why don't you let me talk to your uncle. I think he will allow you to buy flowers."
" Really?!!" They both exclaimed and I was like
" Mmmmh " I nodded and they replied
" Thank you aunty Cara... You are the best" I smiled at them and spoke
" High five guys!!" I was in the middle of giving the girls high five when I noticed an expensive car parking at the front of the shop. It was a big black Bugatti. Becca and Bella were like
". Ooh no! He came himself to take us to school" I guessed in my mind maybe that's Uncle Xavier or whatever. After few seconds, a light skinned guy got out of the car. He had worn a fair Black tuxedo, he had black shades on, a maroon necktie escorted with a white long sleeved shirt and purely polished black shoes. I quickly judged that the guy is rich.
He took quick steps towards us and when he reached to us he took off his shades, I saw clearly the blue eyes, the black eyelashes, the cute pink lips which were so adorable and the sharp jawline. He had the blackiest hair that was finely curled.
He spoke to the kids
" guys....do you know how many minutes you Lost because of buying flowers?" The kids became quiet and I had to speak for them
" It's okay... You don't have to scold them, they can get to class as early as they can and buy flowers at the same time." I didn't give him a chance to talk, I carried on
" You can come here early enough and take flowers for them then, you can drop them at school. It doesn't matter what they do with the flowers... just let them be."
I finally stopped talking and looked at Mr handsome with begging eyes while the kids spoke
" Uncle please!". He finally spoke
"Fine! " I gave the kids high five and Mr handsome spoke
" But under one condition..."
Bella was like " what is it uncle?"
"Uum ... You will stop taking sweets frequently." He spoke while looking at the kids. They both sighed and replied
"Fine". He smiled and looked more cute than before!! He told the kids to wait for him in the car since he wanted to talk to me. Bella and Becca disappeared and finally it was just the two of us. He spoke
" I guess you are Ms Cara right?"
" Yes I'm....who told you my name?"
" Nothing much... it's just those cute monsters of mine. They can't stop talking about you at home or whenever I'm with them.. I'm Xavier Nicholas" he kept quiet for awhile, I didn't want to be close to him since I despised men so much. He continued speaking
" So, I won't beat around the bush. Let me be straight. Uum, If you don't mind can you be their nanny?....."
" I don't think I can.... just find someone else to do that for you."
He looked at me with a pleading face and spoke
" Pleease! I beg you, it's just.... I'm so busy and I have little time to spend with them. I can't take care of them properly and by the way, the kids are so fond of you"
" I'm really sorry for rejecting your offer but can you please find someone else?" I emphasized to the extent that he only sighed. He looked at the floor and finally faced me. He finally spoke
" It's okay Ms Cara." He took out his business card and handled it to me then continued
" That's my business card, you can call me in case you change your mind."
I took the business card and placed on one of the wooden tables nearby. I spoke
" Uum...it was a pleasure to have you here... Mr Xavier Nicholas"
" Nice to meet you Ms Cara... Just incase you change your mind, you have my business card."
" Sure have a nice day" he took quick steps towards the car and got in. He started the engine and drove off. When the car finally disappeared, I took the card and read some of the information. I was like
" Wow....Mr Xavier Nicholas, he is the CEO of this famous company! So he is the one that owns Xani companies ?!"
I exclaimed and for real Xani companies supplied the best clothes and foods, and I can say he owned different hotels. I talked to myself
" Just cut all the crap Cara, don't be excited that much.... you still have many things to do"
In my mind, I always planned to avenge the death of Nathaniel, the man who died at the battlefield for me. I always desired to chop each piece of Mr Hutchinson's body and fry it. I had the burning anger against each activity he does. I was also planning to get the M2V pills from him. I knew he doesn't know how to activate them. Once he realizes how the pills are activated, Mr Hutchinson can ruin the world and turn it into hell.
I thought about many things, I don't have money to help me avenge Nathaniel since... the money that I got from the flower shop was too small for me to establish my plans clearly and buying good weapons. Mr Xavier had all the money that I needed. I asked myself
" what if you work for him Cara? You will get anything that you need." I was like
" You know what Cara, just work as their nanny. Demand a nice payment, save a lot of money and you can finally ruin that short monkey"
I smiled and took the business card, I called Mr Xavier
" Hello... I'm sorry, is this Mr Xavier speaking?"
" Yes of course."
" Uum, this is Cara speaking. I'm the lady that sells flowers"
" Sure, so... you gave it a thought and?"
" I accepted your offer Sir."
" Bingo!!! Thank you Cara, you won't regret accepting this offer. Just prepare yourself, pack your necessary belongings and I'll send my driver to pick you up during the evening."
" Thank you sir."
" It's my pleasure."
He hanged up and I went to pack what I thought was necessary. I took some of my clothes and cleaned the house. I handled everything to the landlord and when it reached almost 6 o'clock in the evening, I Saw a black Bentley parking at the flower shop, I got in after confirming that the driver was sent by Mr Xavier. We finally started hitting the road to the luxurious mansion in the Philippines.
After like fifteen minutes, the car stopped and I was able to see a huge mansion ahead. It was constructed with many glasses and when the gate was opened, I saw a huge greenish garden that had many colourful flowers, I Saw many expensive cars parked that were more than 30 by approximating. There was two huge and cool swimming pools and before I continued to scan the area, I heard
" Ms we are here" I got out of the expensive car and I realized that the mansion had three floors. The driver took my bags and spoke
" I'm Davis, welcome...this is where our boss lives."
" Thank you Davis.. I'm Cara." He offered his hand and I offered mine too. We shook hands and he spoke
" Uum, let me show you your room." He took my bags and we climbed the stairs up to the first floor. He opened the door of one of the rooms and spoke
" You are welcome, feel at home. If you need anything just call me via this new phone" he spoke while handling to me a new smartphone. I took the phone and spoke back
" Thank you Davis...if you don't mind can you please leave me alone."
"Sure" he got out and slammed the door. I started checking the room, it had everything I needed. It was a self-container room, mapple wood floor with a cool bathroom and toilet. I checked the dressing room and saw the huge wardrobe and a dresser mirror.
I looked at the other room, it had a small kitchen,a small wooden table with two chairs and a huge flat screen. In the bedroom, there was a huge flat screen and a comfy bed. All the rooms had maroon carpets and Everything was awesome. I was like
" Is this really my room.?" I opened the curtains and I was able to see the huge windows. I slid one window open and I saw how the outside view looked like. I went inside and found a note on the bed written
' Feel free... Take a rest and tomorrow
We can go for shopping. I will talk to
you after dinner. '
Xavier Nicholas."
I left the note on the bed after reading it and took my clothes off ready for a shower.
