"Akira! It seems like a thermal type! New adaptation!" Gena briefly read the temperature signatures. To tackle the desert atmosphere, Shifter was absolutely making up with its own temperature. But how was it doing it?
"Its no longer a reptile...?" Akira thought while running away in the dense sand.
Big bodies moved slow, but one step of its foot covered a staggering 78 meters at once. 256 feet, approximately.
But that illusion was crushed quickly. Because it started running.
"SHIT! IT CAN RUN!" Akira panicked. Gena was far ahead and turned around to see the absolute monster speeding in on them.
Janet's fist clenched, her eyes glancing to the airship with weapons and bombs on standby.
'Perhaps it is too early.' Janet thought silently. Akira and Gena, even with remarkable strength needed more time in battle.
Everyone gasped as the huge Shifter lunged at Akira at once. It's perspective of the small human in front of it made something instinctive tick in it.
