Standing on a faraway cliff, Rio watched Ratna slaughter his own kin, and the expression on his face never changed.
'So he's decided to move right ahead with his plan… He's ambitious and decisive; I have a feeling that he will go far and become a prominent figure in the future…'
'I wonder if I will have the chance of sparring with him one day in the future… that would be nice… but I might have already become too strong by then.'
'I just hope that this little fellow will be able to live long enough… otherwise all my effort would go down the drain…'
The Eldors had small lifespans, and even if Rio had used his powers to stop miasma from corrupting Ratna, the other party still only had a few more years before he would die of old age.
Ratna knew this fact too, as he understood his body the best, and thus he stopped wasting any more time and decided to take action as fast as possible.
