In the classroom office, ever since the competition list was announced, Grace Carter had been full of worries, constantly sighing.
"Ms. Carter, you've been sighing all afternoon, is the situation really that bad?"
The teacher from Class Four put down her pen and looked over helplessly.
"It might be worse than I anticipated."
Grace Carter forced a smile, unable to disperse the worry etched in her brows.
"What do you mean worse, what happened?"
At that moment.
A voice interrupted, filled with curiosity.
As Grace Carter turned towards the sound, she saw the gentle and delicate face of Lawrence White. Remembering his recent actions, her heart skipped two beats.
She cleared her throat, "Mr. White, shouldn't you be teaching a class right now?"
Lawrence White pulled over a chair and sat down, smiling at her, "This period is Class Six's lesson, with Claire Green there, I don't need to go."
Then.
He continued, "Why do I feel like Ms. Carter seems disappointed to see me?"
