"What's this, even my laughter is under your control now, brother?"
Claire Green twirled a pen, speaking with an ambiguous tone.
Who would have thought.
The man chuckled deeply twice, and leisurely looking at her, said, "No, it's just that your laughter is so daring it's hard for me to handle."
Understanding his implication in just a second, Claire Green's pen-twirling hand paused for a moment, a slight blush creeping up her ears.
Suppressing the restlessness in her heart, Claire Green said lightly, "Seems brother thinks there's not enough material. I happen to have some papers here; why don't you do them too."
No sooner had she finished speaking than she, without waiting for the man to respond, directly picked a few blank papers from a large pile and handed them over.
Then, clutching the rest, she slowly stood up.
"I won't interrupt your study time, brother."
Watching the girl's seemingly flustered retreat, Julian Sia chuckled silently.
