Workshop A, Tokyo Animation Studios, Elffire City.
The studio clock slowly ticked toward 11:00 AM as the dedicated task force worked tirelessly beneath the warm workshop lights. Every animator, storyboard artist, and revisionist leaned over their digital displays with focused, shining eyes. The collective energy in the room was palpable; they all knew they were just a few frames away from completing the comprehensive rough storyboard for Kiki's Delivery Service.
It had taken Theo and his specialized team nearly two weeks of intense, daily collaboration to finish just this initial rough draft. To an industry outsider, a fortnight might seem like a slow grind, but within the world of high-end feature animation, this was an incredibly accelerated timeframe.
