"No sis, school was never interesting to begin with. You only romanticize it and that's why you feel like it's amazing," Maya groaned.
She hated coming to school every day. The same old people and the same old thing.
"She's in her period, I tell you," Sarah chuckled and Alora join her.
"Ha ha, so funny. I can't even bring myself to laugh at this. Do you even know how painful it is to have periods? You feel like you are dying, screaming, crying, and yet no one's hearing your voice," she said in her normal dramatic tone, with the back of her hand pressed against her forehead.
She was desperate to tell the world how miserable she was.
Alora and Sarah shared a look.
"We also don't have any idea. Could you tell us more about it?"
"Sure, peasants. Period happens to a girl so that she can give birth to beautiful kids in the future who are most probably going to look like their father. The amount of pain a woman has to bear, just to hear her kid's first-word being 'daddy'."
