The world was a cruel and unforgiving place especially for those society has already deemed useless. She understood this better than other 15 year olds, she understood the world was not as black and white as it seemed.
Morana was an outcast she always had been, she was the weird kid that people knew were there but didn't acknowledge it and honestly she was fine with that, fine with the ever growing coldness in her chest everyday she didn't really know what life would be without it she cant really remember when it wasn't there or when it started growing its just there. Until she wasn't, until it grew colder and colder as her birthday grew closer some day its was bearable other days it felt as it she was drowning in an frozen covered ocean with no sense of which way is which.
