As Houjin moved deeper into the dungeon, he soon noticed he had more power when using his dragon-type martial souls. Eventually, he felt like he was bullying the monster in the dungeon so he switched the clear sky's hammer with his blue Silver Emperor soul. He did this so he could better master his hand-to-hand combat skills.
Kaede watching from the side was notable by his CQC techniques. She at first thought, like others, that Houjin fought like his brother, combining different skills. The truth, however was the complete opposite. Apporou himself stated that if they fought in pure martial arts, he would lose. Now, most people would think this made Houjin the weakest of the two, but they couldn't be more wrong. Take his current fight right now, for example.
Houjin was fighting completely barehand against an earth Drake. He deployed beautiful and elegant steps as he danced around the monster. Each time he would dodge a faint strike, Houjin delivered a blow of his own. Although its body looked unharmed from the outside, the Drake would occasionally cough up blood. With each strike Houjin sent a bit of his Dragonforce into the Drake's body. The destruction rampage through out the drake's body was a torturous pain.
Finally after a few minutes of struggling the Drake could no long keep standing. Seeing his toy broken Houjin could only shrug before heading to the boss area. In this dungeon there are multiple floors each having their own boss. Houjin was now about to face the boss on this floor. Kaede followed closely behind him mesmerized by his display of strength.
Kaede:Are we going to directly fight the boss.
Houjin:I was thinking about jumping right in but my instincts are screaming for me to meditate for a bit.
After taking down the Drake Houjin sensed he was about to breakthrough. Most shocking of all he skipped all the way to level soul king realm rank 69. He just needs one little push and he would enter the Soul Saint realm. It was hard to describe but he felt like he was missing an important piece. Reading through his technique again he suddenly entered a meditative state. A white gold mist started to float around his body setting of an earth quake. Kaede could only watch on the side more mist came out.
A few minutes later she could faintly hear the sound of dragons roaring. The aura coming from his body increased make it hard for her to breathe. Realizing the danger she was in Kaede backed up to a safe distance just on the edge of the aura. Meanwhile in Houjin's mind sea he watched in wonder as the five elements soul power in his body merged together. Some a new golden soul power took its place. Once he soul power completely transformed he watch as a golden silhouette appeared.
The silhouette was of a man wearing rode with a massive golden lotus flower behind him. Although his face wasn't clear but he gave off the feeling of a God. As Houjin was in a daze a series of messages popped up in front of him in rapid succession.

Although it face remained unclear Houjin could make out the new entity has horns. Behind its back was were three sets of hand and two more faces.

Just when Houjin thought the spectacle was over another shocking sight happened. The martial souls he had obtained before appeared in front of the two new ones. They then transformed into spirit rings before being absorbed by the Immortal except for the evil fire Phoenix. It was instead absorbed by the Asura.

Before Houjin could even process the changes to his status panel he found himself back in the outside world. Looking at Kaede's slack jaw expression he got an idea of the level of commotion he caused. However what he didn't know was her shock wasn't because of the spectacle. Instead it was because of Houjin's new appearance. If before he was attractive then now he could casually cuck every man in the world. Even now Kaede could feel her abdomen heating up as she soaked her panties.
After spending a little time getting used to his new powers Houjin decided it was time to face the boss. Ignoring Kaede's lust filled gaze Houjin entered the boss room. In the room there nothing but darkness except for the light shining on a mirror. Maintaining his vigilance Houjin approached the mirror. His reflection in the mirror almost instantly took a step out of the mirror.
