After the girls killed the Kolbolds we stopped so that we could have a lunch of Kolbold meat. As Rou and I were savoring our meal the girls looked at us as if asking us to give them some meat. Since they were asking for it we did not see anything wrong with giving them some. While we were eating both them started to act strange which at first really made me worry about them. Luckily they were OK and it seems they gained a new job call noir soldier. With it came a boost to most of their physical stats but the main change was their eyes. They turned from original color to a dull red that looked both like a human's and monster's. The only downside is that noir soldiers are required to eat monster parts every so often or risk death. Still with how most of our food being monsters I don't ever seeing that becoming a problem. Done for the day we headed back home and of course Redhead and Rou were flirting. Then again I guess I was just as guilty because I also would tease lightswordswoman every so often. Back home we arrived to see a number goblins injured and being treated. From what they told us the war between the humans and elves have finally spread to here. I decided to save the elf princess so we can see if there is a way to get them to keep their from our territory. For now I went to bed somewhat tried of course not too tired for special time with Druid. There was also a new addition. After what happened today lightswordswoman could no longer hold herself back anymore. Once we started she turned completely wild making me wondering how she held back for so longer. Later that night as I was meditating my ears picked up on the faint sound of running. Curious about what it was I activated my spirit eyes as I ran towards it. When I got there I found a group of Kolbold running from skeletons attacking them. Before I could do anything Rou already had everyone opening fire on the skeleton legion. Unfortunately the arrows did not even slow them down. Not only that but the also seemed impervious to swords as well. Things were looking dark until HobgoblinSeto accidentally discovered that they were weak to blunt force attacks. My method was to strike them using my blue lightning to turn them into ash. Eventually my brother sent out the order for everyone to use this chance to level up. Everyone except for Rou and I participated in the experience festival. I sat off to the side watching everything with Rou as the human girls explained the benefits of keeping the bones. This went on for a while until he called for all combatants to fall back. Right after he did Rou jumped down from the throne he took from Velvet's treasure vault. Once he landed on the ground my brother immediately went to work clearing out the skeletons ,and within 7 seconds he defeated the skeleton that was summoning more.
Since mostly everyone was tried after the leveling festival that evening we just went to sleep leaving the Kolbolds for the next day. In the morning Rou woke them up to find out that they were part of a mining team. Unfortunately they accidentally opened a hole in the part of Velvet's dungeon were most of the undead gathered. As a result they ran and when they came to our home they lured them to us. The plan was for them to perish with the skeletons which earned my respect. They went on to ask Rou to allow them to serve him as their new lord. Eventually he agreed but only under the condition that they wear slave collars. Which of course he later eat to get their ability thus bring yet another day to a close.
At last the day of the humans' plan to kidnap the elf daughter has come so I head for the location of the ambush. With me was Rou and Kichi. Just the three of us was already enough to deal with must threats without so much as a scratch. After walking for a while we came to where the attack was going to happen and waited to see if Rou could get more info. Our wait was soon broke by the said of one of the elf guards dying. Without waiting I moved to save the last two female guards to protected the princess closely. When they saw my their first reaction was to get in a defensive formation around the princess. As for the one they were protecting she looked at me curiously. While I was dealing with that my brother and kichi already captured the humans.
GoblinHou: Listen ladies I know you may not believe me but we mean you no harm. We simply ask you to follow us to our base just for tonight and tomorrow we will help send you home.
The guards sunk into a deep thought as they considered all of their options. Their contemplating was interrupted by the princess speaking up first. By the way just so we are clear I only call her princess because she reminds me of one.
Elf daughter: Alright we agree to follow you after all it is obvious that with your strength it is beyond easy to do whatever you want.
Seeing how calm she was shocked me until I noticed that she griping her hands tightly. It is obvious she is afraid but to hide it and ensure the safety of her guards she just bared with it. Almost entirely by instinct I raised my hand and placed it to my chest.
GoblinHou: I here by vow by my name that if any harm where to come to either you or your guards then I will be punished by the heavens.
After hearing my vow and seeing the seriousness on my face the princess seemed to become visibly relaxed. Once we were done there we headed back to mine where Rou and I sperated going our own way. I took the three elves to place far Rou's lecture on torture. We sat around a table talking about nothing really important while we waited for him to finish. Most of what we talked about was me bragging about my battle against the giga horse. I made sure to make sound effects and everything to make sure the tale was as interesting as it could be. Finally he was done so we could talk business and when were done we went to sleep for the night.
