Ivan
"This is..." Nefra marveled at her appearance, touching the mirror to make sure it was real.
"Amazing?" I finished for her, sliding my hands on her sides. I'm being touchy, but I've spent the last three days doing this, and it's hard to stop. "Like I said. Hate and love magic right now."
The change was night and day.
I wish I'd taken a photo of her from the other day, but her safety was my priority. I've never seen anything like it.
Magic isn't my specialty. The best I can do is some mental exercises to fight against it—which does nothing but give you false security that you're doing something. Some might say it was my werewolf healing, but we're incapable of taking someone as malnourished as Nefra had been and transforming them into their best self in three days.
Heal her injuries? Yes, but this?
Honestly, it made me hate the bastard even more.
