Though Magic and I have issues, I love learning with Sarah.
"I'm starving!" With another lesson finished, Maggie raised her arms above her head, her stomach echoing her complaint. Sarah didn't believe in drawn-out lessons. She did quick ones that taught us a single thing and built on it in the next lesson. It was a faster way to learn. "I think I'll make lamb tonight."
"Then you need to get started now…" Sarah was busy writing notes in her journal that recorded our progress. "That lamb won't de-thaw itself."
"I have to de-thaw the whole thing?!"
From a human perspective, it's already unreasonable to defrost an entire lamb leg so late in the day, but we're talking about magic.
The first test I ever faced was to heat my lunch without an oven or a microwave.
I had a frozen hot pocket for five hours, even though kids can supposedly do it.
So, I don't envy my friend.
