Mrs. Geoffrey's question was clearly redundant... Rebecca Quentin couldn't refuse.
"Hmm."
"Very well, Andrew is asleep, let's talk in the living room!"
Rebecca Quentin nodded lightly.
Mrs. Geoffrey then walked out of the room.
Anticipating that the topic of discussion with Mrs. Geoffrey might concern her and Howard Geoffrey, Rebecca Quentin inexplicably hesitated a bit, but in the end, she still followed Mrs. Geoffrey to the living room.
In the spacious living room, Mrs. Geoffrey sat gracefully and nobly on the sofa, her gaze falling on Rebecca Quentin, who stood in front of the sofa. For once, she spoke kindly to Rebecca Quentin, "Have a seat!"
Rebecca Quentin slowly sat down on the sofa.
Mrs. Geoffrey spoke calmly, "Miss Quentin, I know you're a smart person, so I'll get straight to the point... That day in the hospital, both you and I heard Alice say the child she was carrying wasn't related to Howard, but did you know Alice was lying to us that day?"
Just as expected...
