Ned Mamet quickly took care of it for her. As he was tossing away the bloody cotton ball, Clement Drew walked in.
He was carrying a thermos box and asked, "Have you video-called Grandpa and Grandma?"
Audrey responded with a light 'hmm'. Ned Mamet said, "I completely followed the script you two came up with. Really, if Grandpa finds out Audrey was seriously injured once and I even helped to lie, my skin will probably peel off. Audrey, you'll have to protect me then."
Audrey made an 'OK' gesture and said, "Don't worry."
"I have to say, Clement Drew, how could you let me get close to Audrey at a time like this? Weren't you always calling me Bastard Mamet?"
