Outside the hospital.
Mrs. Drew walked out of the soup shop carrying a food box. It was a special clam soup she had ordered for Audrey. Audrey had been accompanying her son in the hospital for seven days, and the doctors said that her son's condition was improving daily, and he should wake up in a few days.
This clam soup was prepared specifically for Audrey.
"Mom!"
Mrs. Drew was startled and looked in the direction of the voice, it was Sinclair Drew.
Glancing around, Mrs. Drew quickly pulled her daughter into a nearby alley, and asked, "Why are you here?"
"Mom, I want to know how my brother is doing."
"Much better."
A look of delight spread across Sinclair's face as she said, "That's good."
"See, Audrey has her ways. This time, I really need to thank her. If Clement wakes up and still wants to marry Audrey, I will beg Clark Price and his family for their approval, even if it means kneeling in front of Price Manor."
