Entering the Web I went straight to Spinner's main terminal.

"Welcome back Peter." He said.

"Thanks as always Spinner." I replied. "Now then, I need you to get ready."

"For what exactly?"

"You're upgrade." I replied. "Specifically the fact I'm about to connect you to the world wide Web. You've more than earned that privilege." I explained.

"I...thank you Peter. I promise I won't let you down."

"I know you won't." I replied.

But on the off chance Spinner does I still have that backdoor into his core program which I can use to deliver the kill code I developed for him when I first created him.

One I am constantly updating, so if there does become a time when it's necessary to use it it can take Spinner out in one go.

Moving on.

Placing my hands on the keyboard I worked a little computer magic and soon Spinner, and by extension the Webs servers, now had an established connection to the outside world.

But one that is hidden behind so many firewalls, proxies, and bouncing off so many other servers across the world it's not even funny.

For as a superior Spider-Man I will not be caught by such a simple mistake as to not safeguard my digital footprint.

"Connection established."

"Yes, I can... certainly feel it." Spinner told me. "And it's strange, but at the same time enlightening."

"Glad to hear it." I said. "Well, enjoy your newfound freedom." I said.

I then got up and left the Web.

Hoping I wouldn't be seeing any sort of robot apocalypse come tomorrow.

Having no idea trouble was once again heading my way.

(3rd Person: POV)

Across town from the Web, in a high rise building known as Fisk Towers, a man was currently standing and looking out the windows of his office, which was situated at the very top of the building.

He has a bald head, wesrst a dark purple collared shirt under a pristine white suit, and is quite large. But all the weight he sports is in fact muscle and not fat.

The name of this man is Wilson Grant Fisk.

He is the owner of Fisk Towers, as well as the founder and CEO of Fisk Industries, one of the biggest corporations in New York City.

Fisk is also a philanthropist, and charitable man, who has given copious amounts of money to the city many times over the years since he came on the scene.

But all that is just a distraction and mask to hide Fisk's true nature.

Which is that of the ruthless and terrible crime boss known as the Kingpin, or the Big Man to some, who basically runs the entirety of the New York City underworld with an iron fist.

*Knock, Knock*

"Enter." Fisk spoke, after hearing the knock on his office door.

With that he also turned around and went to take a seat at his desk.

Right after he did the door opened and two people entered the office, immediately closing the door behind them after they did.

The first person is a man named James Wesley. A lawyer, and Fisk right-hand man who oversees the day-to-day operations of his criminal enterprise.

The second person is man named Alonzo "Lonnie" Lincoln, who goes by the moniker Tombstone. A man who long ago acquired superhuman powers and is now Fisk's top enforcer.

"Gentleman, report." Fisk instructed. "What has your inquiries into this Spider-Man revealed?" He asked.

Given that Peter's actions ever since he put on the mask has been interfering with the Kingpin's business, even if he didn't know it.

"That he's an annoying bug like the street says he is." Tombstone spoke.

"While I would put things in a more detailed manner Mr. Lincoln is quite correct in his words sir." James spoke. "For all intensive purposes Spider-Man is exactly what he claims to be, a hero. We've found no evidence of him committing any sort of criminal acts."

"As if we didn't already have issues thanks to that horned freak in Hell's Kitchen, now we have to deal with this damned bug as well." Tombstone muttered. He then stepped forward a bit more. "Boss, if you give me a couple of our best men then I'll go and take care of our new bug problem. We'll put him down before he even knew what hit him."

"I would advise against that course of action Lincoln, given it will do nothing but lead to disaster."

"Oh yeah, and what makes you say that Wesley?!" Tombstone snarled ar James.

Who didn't even flinch.

"Several things. First off, Spider-Man understands the notion of good press. Ever since he appeared on the scene he has been building a big social media presence and now many people are watching his actions. Second, our contacts in the police tell me is actually building a sort of stable relationship with law enforcement. Particularly with a decorated NYPD Captain known as George Stacy and his subordinates, who I've investigated enough to know cannot be bought off. Third, Spider-Man is also building a relationship with the Fantastic Four. That's not even taking into account all of the resources he seems to have at his disposal, given the differet variants of costume the man wears, or his newest ally Ghost-Spider."

"So you're saying we should just do nothing?"

"I did not." Wesley replied. "I'm merely saying we need to approach this with some delicacy."

"And I happen to agree." Wilson spoke, drawing both Wesley and Tombstone's attention to him. "We already have one vigilante problem we do not need another. To that end, Wesley summon the Enforcers to deal with our spider-themed annoyance, including his new friend."

"Of course Mr. Fisk." Wesley replied. "But given the capabilities Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider have displayed this far do you really think the Enforcers will be enough to deal with them?"

"As they currently are, oh no." Fisk replied. "That is why you are going to introduce them to the Tinkerer and helo secure them the proper equipment for this job."

"Understood sir." Wesley spoke.

"What about me boss?" Tombstone asked.

"It seems some of our friends are too to rise above their station when the recent arrival of Spider-Man, as some did when Daredevil made his appearance. Go and remind them of their place."

"Understood boss." Tombstone replied, a savage grin on his face.

"Good gentleman. Now, you are dismissed." Fisk spoke.

Once he did Wesley and Tombstone left his office.

After they did Fisk turned around and began looking at the view of New York out of his office windows once more.

Moving through the underground levels of Oscorp Industries headquarters, dressed as a security guard, the mercenary Jason Macendale Jr. had a grin on his face.

For after months of investigating, after his infiltration into Oscorp, he had finally discovered the location of Norman Osborn's private lab.

The man having slipped up recently, leading Jason straight to it.

Then again it's not like Jason could blame after all the craziness that's been going on in regards to Oscorp over the past few months.

The freaks that kept popping up associated with the place, from that lizard monster to Electro.

Yeah, Jason was glad this particular job was finally coming to a close.

Then once it did he would be set for life.

And then maybe his ex-wife and son would look at him again.

Jason thought about this for a moment before shaking his head.

'No, Jason. Keep unnecessary thoughts out of the mind until the mission is complete.' He thought.

Reaching the end of the hallway, where the door to Norman's private lab was situated just as he did.

Upon reaching the door Jason unzipped his jacket slightly and pulled out an electronic hacking tool.

Then after he did he slipped on some gloves and hooked up the device to the keypad in front of him.

Which unlocked the door to the lab within the ten minutes.

After this happened Jason activated a miniature electronic scrambler in his pocket, disabling the security cameras he was sure Norman kept in his lab.

Once he did Jason stepped into the lab and then looked around.

"Oh yeah, I hit the jackpot. Big payday, here I come." Jason said.

He then stepped over to the main terminal and plugged in a flash drive that began downloading all the files Norman had stored on it.

While he download took place Jason walked over to the vials of GR-27 and the G-Serum.

"Interesting." He mused. Jason then went to pick up one of the vials.

But right after he did Klaxons began going off all throughout the lab.

"Warning: Unauthorized personnel detected. Intimidating Fail-Safe protocols." A computerized voice spoke from the terminal.

Then a second after it did the door to the lab slammed shut.

"What, no!" Jason cried.

He then ran over to the main terminal and using his own technical skills began to override the security measures, only to fail.

"Dammit!" He cried, slamming his fists down on the terminal. "No, I won't go down like this." He said.

Jason then removed his flash drive from the main terminal, pulled a small bomb from his jacket, and then turned to the door.

Immediately after he did Jason began to hear a hissing sound.

He then looked around for the case and noticed air was being sucked out of the lab through the rooms vents.

Now knowing he only had a few minutes, or seconds of air left, Jason didn't hesitate.

Running over to the door he planted the mini bomb on it. Jason then took a few steps back and pressed the bomb detonator.

The moment he did an explosion rang out through the lab, the force it blowing Jason back and forcing him to crash into the the vials of GR-27 and G-Serum. Both of them sleeping into his bloodstream due to the cuts on his body.

"No, wait, this isn't right, this... isn't right..." Jason said. Only to stop talking a few seconds later, as the lasts wisps of air were sucked out of the room.

Leading the man to pass out.

Both a furious and worried expression on his face Norman Osborn, along with several of his most trusted security personnel were heading towards his personal lab.

Norman ready to tear apart the person who violated his inner sanctum.

But more importantly likely interrupted the cure he was working on for Emily and Harry.

'Plesse, don't let that be the case.' Norman prayed.

Just before he and his men reached the entrance to his lab.

But when they did Norman and all of his men dropped in their tracks.

Given that the door to his lab was wide open, since it had been ripped open from the inside.

Norman wondering exactly what the hell is going on?
