"You guys fail." You know, with the benefit of hindsight, I probably should have known that there was absolutely no way my situation would have worked out; it was obvious.

My name is Yanagi Shingetsu, I am a former dead person who has been recruited by a multiversal slavery company called 'Waifu Catalog' and offered a second chance at life. So for that second chance, I decided on the world of Naruto. Unfortunately I wasn't given any binding methods but that did not deter me. As a matter of fact I was even more pumped about seducing waifus naturally in this world of adventures!
Except it seems like my adventures have ended before they could begin properly.
"You guys are all now a part of the genin corps, you can ask your former teachers about the things you need to know." Shiranui Genma, the jōnin instructor assigned to my squad said with a bored look before flickering away and the my two, no longer, team mates simply left the training ground. One of them in anger and the other in tears.
Honestly, I hadn't exactly had high hopes when I ended up in a team with two civilian borns but I had hoped that I would be able to impress Genma enough that he would take us in. Instead the man had just failed us and left, at least recommend us something bastard! The other two won't get strong without tutelage unlike me!
Hah, no use crying over spilled milk. I should just make plans for the future and get ready to take on some D rank missions since money was a genuine concern.
Technically the catalog gave me quite a bit of local currency each month but there would be questions if an orphan in genin corps was to spend money without going on missions. The other two could at least get help from their parents.
"Man, this sucks." I said with a sigh as I sheathed my katana and left the training ground, I would think more in my house. Fucking Shiranui Genma, I would seduce his girlfriend but the bastard doesn't even have one!

The next few days passed quickly with me trying to get a hold of the powers I got from my templates and power swap.
I had the full powers of Tsugikuni Michikatsu, the demon slayer who would later on become Kokushibo. My power was that of while he was still human though.
It was rather amazing, being able to see the world and breathe like a man with demon slayer mark. Shame that the power it gives me isn't enough in the world of Naruto where people would start from being an actual ninja, only to turn into super saiyans with their own megazords later on.
The templates on the other hand were a bit more… complex.
The first template I had was that of Senju Tobirama, arguably the most ninja shinobi this village ever had that was actually strong. He might be somewhat… lacking compared to his brother, the bog god of shinobi, but to be perfectly honest; most people in this world was. But Tobirama had one area where he was very much superior to his brother. Hashirama might be able to use chakra to battle, but Tobirama knew how chakra worked. The younger Senju sibling had created so many jutsus that he had became a meme. The god damn Edo Tensei that had almost destroyed the army of allied Shinobi was his design! That kind of intelligence and expertise was what I needed.
My other template was more… esoteric. As in I decided to be a complete maniac and took the template of Khonsu from Riordanverse. The Egyptian god of moon who could control time. His powers were a bit too tricky. As in currently the template merely made me something akin to a demigod. Better physical stats and a small healing factor that seemed to be getting stronger everyday. I haven't been able to exert power over time or the moon though.
It was kinda sad, and worrying, since I needed all the power I could get in this world where, due to me choosing Universal Calibration, quite a lot was different from canon.
As in there was a very heavy leaning towards female in male female ratio. The sixty five percent of the Shinobi were woman and I had no intention of trying to understand how that happened.
There were also a few faces in the village that should not be in it during this timeline. Like Tsunade already being in the village as the head of hospital and Uchiha Sarada already being alive as a female Sasuke's cousin. She was also in a team with Sarutobi Mirai and Sai, the granddaughter of the third Hokage and more than likely ROOT agent that had graduated a year earlier than us.
Even the people who were not supposed to be in this timeline were getting teams.
No, this was no time for getting distracted. This was time to train and hopefully awaken proper moon powers I had gotten from Khonsu. Light manipulation, time manipulation and gravity manipulation were merely the tip of the iceberg!
With that motivation, I sat down on the ground and meditated under the moon light. I concentrated on the very presence of the moon and thought about the legends of Khonsu.
A son of Ra himself, Khonsu held the power over the moon in his hands and had been a key figure in the birth of the five children of Nut and Geb when the sky mother had managed to win enough hours to create five new days in year after Ra had forbidden them from having children in any day of the year. This fondness of gambling allowed him to take the role of the devil in games as he had taken many things from others in games, anything from a few inches of height to even one's ren; the true name and the very nature of one's soul.
"Who are you?" My eyes opened as a question reached my ears but I was no longer in the training ground. No, I was in some sort of throne room with a very beautiful woman sitting on the throne while glaring down at me.
A woman with hair and eyes as white as the snow and skin that was almost as pale. But her most distinctive features were definitely the horns on her forehead and the one ringed red eye in the middle of her forehead.
"I asked who you are?" Otsutsuki Kaguya glared down at me, the throne room darkening along with her expression.
