Back in his room that night, Adrian Morgan suddenly couldn't sleep. The image of Vera Warner replayed endlessly in his mind.
Adrian Morgan stood up and shook his head forcefully, trying to break out of this state, but he couldn't get her out of his mind no matter what he did.
He made up his mind. 'The next time I'm with the kids, Luke and Zola, I need to get to know her better.'
After picking a time, Adrian Morgan bought some gifts for Luke and Zola and made his way to Morgan Manor.
"Young Master Adrian, you're back! Please, come in."
The butler seemed dazed as he opened the door. He truly hadn't expected Adrian Morgan to ever be able to return to the Morgan family. 'Has their feud been completely resolved?' he wondered.
"Mm."
Adrian Morgan gave a faint acknowledgment and walked straight into Morgan Manor.
In truth, Adrian Morgan had already informed Mrs. Morgan and Vera Warner of his visit. Vera Warner had already packed bags for the two children, ready to leave with him.
