If anyone in the venue was still calm, it was probably only Lydia Ellison and Mrs. Ellison. The two of them had already seen what Vera Warner was truly capable of when it came to fashion design.
As the host began to speak, all eyes turned to Warner Industries, a clear signal for them to present their product.
"Well, President Warner, it's your turn now. Go on and show us your product."
"Exactly! We've long heard how your… what was it… your Heavenly Silkworm Immortal Robe caused a sensation throughout Aethelgard. I'm sure this time will be no different, so why be so shy?"
"That's right. We've heard so much about your design talent and have been eagerly awaiting this. Please, take this opportunity to let us feast our eyes."
The other industry leaders chimed in one after another. While they sounded like they were looking forward to Vera Warner's product, they really just wanted to see her make a fool of herself.
