This was an incredible coincidence. His sister had just told him that Luna White was set to marry into a family in Aethelgard, forging an alliance with the city's largest corporation.
And he'd heard that her fiancé's uncle was the City Lord of Aethelgard, a man of immense power.
Timothy Lawson instantly realized how serious this could be. After all, both Luna White and Faye Lockwood hated Vera Warner to their very core. There was no way they wouldn't try to make trouble for her.
'It looks like there will be no peace for her company.'
Vera Warner looked at the suddenly dazed Timothy Lawson and asked in confusion.
"What's wrong, Timothy? Why are you just standing there stunned?"
"Don't tell me a big shot like you is worried about having to give me a huge celebratory gift."
Vera Warner teased with a laugh. This was typical of their dynamic.
"No, that's not it. Why are you thinking of opening a company in Aethelgard?"
