If Vera Warner could have overpowered Victor Morgan, she would have sent him flying with a kick. But alas, she was no match for him and could only glare at his arrogant display.
Victor Morgan declared, "Listen here. Wherever you go today, I'm following you!"
Unwilling to waste any more time on him, Vera Warner drove back to her office to continue working on matters for her new company.
Soon after, she received another call from Jordan Walker, and Victor Morgan, who was standing beside her, immediately became guarded.
Vera Warner didn't try to hide it, answering the call right in front of him. "Mr. Walker, is there something else?"
"Vera, there's actually something I didn't tell you today. My daughter's mother passed away last year. If you're willing, we could start a family together."
Since Victor Morgan was standing so close, he overheard the conversation. His eyes went wide, and anger flared within him.
