His expression was blank as he continued, "You know full well what you've done. When the whole truth comes out, you'd better be prepared. I doubt you'll be able to handle it."
'It sounds like Victor Morgan is implying something,' these words sent a chill through Luna Warner.
Luna Warner put on a look of anguish, her tear-streaked face turned toward Victor Morgan. With her head bowed, she said, "Victor, you can say whatever you want about me. Just don't stop me from seeing Zola."
Victor Morgan grew angry. "I used to think that as Zola's mother, you needed to be with him, which is why I tolerated you seeing him. But now, I see that's no longer necessary."
In the past, Victor Morgan had only let Luna Warner near Zola Morgan on the recommendation of a child psychologist.
He had tolerated it time and again, even though Zola clearly disliked the woman.
