Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

Banner looked at Natasha quietly, his eyes calm but cautious, as if already weighing every possibility before speaking.

"Are you here to kill me?" he asked, his tone steady. "Miss Romanoff, you should know… killing me isn't easy."

There was no arrogance in his voice—just a quiet statement of fact, backed by something far more dangerous beneath the surface.

Natasha stood across from him, posture relaxed but alert, her gaze sharp.

"Of course not," she replied. "I'm here on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D.."

Banner's brows tightened slightly.

"S.H.I.E.L.D.?" he repeated. "How did they find me?"

Natasha didn't hesitate.

"We've always known where you were," she said. "We just chose not to disturb you. In fact… we even handled a few unwanted visitors for you."

Banner gave a faint, almost ironic smile.

"Why?"

"Because Nick Fury trusts you," Natasha answered. "But now… you have to come with me."

Banner leaned back slightly, folding his arms loosely.

"And if I don't want to?" he asked.

Natasha's eyes narrowed just a fraction.

"Then I'll convince you."

Banner's expression didn't change, but something flickered in his gaze.

"And if he doesn't want to?" he added quietly.

The word "he" hung in the air.

Both of them knew exactly who he meant.

Natasha's voice lowered.

"You've gone more than a year without an incident," she said. "You don't want to break that control now."

Banner let out a slow breath.

"I don't always get a choice."

"That's why you should come willingly," Natasha replied. "Because what's coming… is bigger than you."

Banner gave a faint smile.

"You mean Jack?" he said. "He is dangerous. But… he's been gone a long time."

The moment the name was spoken—

Natasha's expression hardened instantly.

"Don't mention him," she said coldly.

Banner raised an eyebrow slightly.

"…Seems like there's history there."

"That's none of your concern," Natasha replied sharply.

Banner lifted his hands slightly.

"Alright. Relax."

For a moment, silence settled between them.

Then Natasha took a slow breath, forcing herself to calm down.

"…Sorry," she said. "Let's focus."

Banner nodded.

"You mentioned a global crisis," he said. "What exactly is it?"

Natasha pulled out her phone, tapped a few times, and turned the screen toward him.

"This," she said.

On the screen—

A glowing blue cube.

Tesseract

"It's called the Tesseract," Natasha continued. "It contains enough energy to destroy Earth."

Banner leaned in slightly, studying it.

"So what does Fury want me to do?" he asked dryly. "Eat it?"

Natasha almost rolled her eyes.

"No. Find it. It was stolen. The gamma signals it emits are too weak for us to track… but you understand gamma radiation better than anyone."

She paused, watching his reaction.

"That's why I'm here."

Banner glanced at her.

"And Fury didn't think to tell me that directly?"

Natasha shrugged slightly.

"You can ask him yourself."

Banner suddenly slammed both hands onto the table.

Bang!

Natasha reacted instantly—stepping back, gun raised, aimed straight at his head.

"Don't move."

Banner didn't react aggressively. Instead, he raised his hands slowly.

"Relax," he said calmly. "I was just testing you."

He met her eyes directly.

"If you didn't shoot… I'm fine. And you're fine."

Natasha hesitated.

Then slowly lowered the gun.

"You're dangerous," she said quietly.

"I know," Banner replied. "But I'm still in control."

"You shouldn't be," a voice suddenly echoed from the entrance.

Both of them froze.

Natasha's expression changed instantly.

"…Jack."

Banner turned toward the door.

"Jack?" he repeated.

A figure stepped into view, relaxed, smiling.

"Correct," Jack said casually. "Dr. Banner… first time meeting you. Hello."

Banner stared at him for a moment.

"I've seen you on TV," he said. "Didn't expect to meet you like this."

Jack grinned.

"Better in person, right?"

"…Yes," Banner admitted.

Natasha's voice cut in, cold and sharp.

"What are you doing here?"

Her instincts were already screaming danger.

Then her expression changed slightly.

"…The people outside."

Jack shrugged.

"You mean your backup?" he said lightly. "I thought inviting Dr. Banner required sincerity… bringing an armed squad seemed disrespectful."

He paused.

"So I removed them."

Natasha's fists clenched tightly.

"…Damn you."

Banner frowned.

"You didn't have to kill them," he said.

Jack waved it off casually.

"If things went wrong, they'd become your enemies anyway," he replied. "I just saved you the trouble."

Natasha stepped forward slightly, her voice icy.

"What do you want?"

Jack's eyes shifted to Banner, and a strange excitement flickered within them.

"I want to see something interesting," he said. "Something real."

Banner stiffened slightly.

"You want me to turn into the Hulk," he said.

Jack smiled wider.

"Exactly."

Banner shook his head.

"I'm not doing that."

Jack glanced at his own hand, flexing his fingers slowly.

"That's not your decision."

Natasha stepped directly in front of Jack.

"You're not touching him," she said firmly.

Jack tilted his head.

"You're stopping me?" he asked.

"Yes."

Jack sighed lightly.

"Fine," he said. "We'll talk after I'm done."

Natasha turned sharply toward Banner.

"Run!"

Banner didn't hesitate.

He sprinted toward the window and jumped out.

Jack didn't move immediately.

Instead—

He suddenly appeared behind Natasha.

Before she could react—

Pa!

A sharp sound echoed.

"This is your punishment," Jack said casually.

Natasha spun around instantly—

But he was already gone.

Her expression darkened.

Without hesitation, she jumped out the window as well.

---

Outside—

Banner ran fast, his breath steady but controlled.

Then—

A shadow appeared in front of him.

Jack.

"Running won't help," Jack said.

Banner stopped.

"…You really are something," he said with a bitter smile. "So this is where it ends."

Jack grinned.

"Time to let the Hulk out."

Banner shook his head.

"You don't understand," he said quietly. "If he comes out… you'll die."

Jack stepped forward.

Pa!

A sudden slap across Banner's face.

"Stop talking," Jack said flatly. "Transform."

Banner stumbled, falling to the ground, rolling once before stopping.

Pain flared—

But something else followed.

Anger.

Uncontrolled.

"This is your fault…" Banner muttered.

Then—

He roared.

"AHHH—!"

His body began to change.

Muscles expanded violently, veins bulging, skin shifting from normal tone to green.

Clothes strained.

The air itself seemed to tremble.

Jack's eyes lit up.

Excitement.

Anticipation.

"It's coming…" he whispered. "Finally."
