The statue was extremely lifelike, and although it might be a real stone statue, since it appeared here, there's a high probability it was a petrified living person. When Shard bent down to try to lift it, he found that the back of the statue had almost merged with the earth. Clearly, if they hadn't appeared now, the earth would soon completely consume this statue.
The statue's attire resembled that of a nearby hunter, with even its waist showing a sheath and an old-style musket at its back, though only the muzzle remained above the ground.
Unfortunately, the soul was no longer there, indicating permanent petrification. Restoring this statue to a living person was as challenging as randomly finding a statue and turning it into a normal living person.
