After returning to the city from outside Randall Valley Town, Shard headed straight back to his home in Tobesk. Considering that he would be spending the night outdoors, he certainly couldn't take Mia with him. So, he hurriedly took the cat to find Dorothy, but Dorothy wasn't home that afternoon.
After inquiring around, Shard finally found Miss Writer, who had just finished a lecture in the auditorium of the Second Mechanical Academy in Tobesk.
She was invited today to give a special lecture on writing popular fiction, so she wore light makeup. Seeing Shard waiting for her at the door, the blonde girl was quite delighted and invited Shard to have dinner with her tonight, but Shard declined:
"I'm spending the night in Randall Valley tonight, oh, don't misunderstand."
