During those seven days, Cyr sought Serena's assistance in searching for the Stone of Immortality. In exchange, he promised her something of great value, though Alex had no idea what it was. The fact that Serena agreed to help proved that his promise was no trivial matter.
Although Alex himself held little worth in Cyr's eyes, Cyr still extended the invitation to him out of courtesy, largely because of Serena's presence.
Together, the three scoured every corner of the Bizarre Beasts Cave for seven days, yet their efforts ended in failure. The Stone of Immortality seemed to have vanished without a trace.
Of course, what neither Cyr nor Serena realized was that Alex had already taken possession of the Stone of Immortality long ago.
Anyway, since the Stone of Immortality was already gone, Cyr helplessly decided to leave. He also didn't want to miss out on the inheritance of Saint Sovereign.
