Alex, Serena, and Cyr walked out of the river. Their clothes were damp, but their steps were steady. The cool mist still clung to their bodies, and the faint shimmer of spiritual energy rising from the water trailed behind them like drifting smoke.
Xin was nowhere to be seen, but Alex's mind was no longer thinking about Xin or Extreme Life Blue Lotus, or even the Stone of Immortality. His mind drifted somewhere else.
Since the Stone of Immortality was no longer at the bottom of the river, staying there for long would be nothing more than a waste of time. So, Serena simply collected the crumbled pillars and proposed to leave that place.
Everyone agreed and left.
