An angel is a high valuable subordinate. The death of one is something significant to him. If he doesn't protect his subordinates, other gods will think it is alright to kill them.
Unfortunately for him, the god of disaster has disappeared. It appears that the god of disaster realized that he was in danger and ran for his life, but that is only partially so.
Gods usually keep themselves hidden and rarely act with their true body. They hid themselves and rarely did anything for fear of being eaten by others.
Everyone worships and fears gods, but very few know that living is not easy for gods either. To gods, this world is a dark forest filled with predators. Surviving in this kind of world requires caution as well as power.
Caution is very important in this dark forest because the first person to show themselves will be besieged and consumed by the other people in the dark forest. So even without him being free, the god of disaster would have kept his true body hidden.
